European Pairs Speedway Championship: SF2 The city of Nagyhalasz, in East Hungary, welcomed riders and team of the European Pairs Speedway Championship for the SF2. Thanks to the excellent job made by the organization, the race was run perfectly without delay. The pair from Latvia claimed the victory with 25 points ahead of Czech Republic, second with 23 points and Poland, whose pair finished third with 18 points. European 250cc Pairs Speedway Cup: Final 1 The best riders of the Speedway European scene fire back into action today for the European 250cc Pairs Speedway Cup: Final 1, staged at Czestochowa, Poland. The city is located in southern Poland on the Warte River and is well-known for the famous Pauline monastery of Jasna Góra, which is the home of the Black Madonna painting, a shrine to the Virgin Mary. Every year, millions of pilgrims from all over the world come to Częstochowa to see it. The young riders proved their talents and raced hard in every heat. From the beginning the Polish pair ruled the meeting and won the event. The other teams competed closely in each heat and eventually it was the most stable Danish team who finished second. SEC: Madsen wins in Rybnik, Michelsen at the lead of standings It wasn't the easiest start of the day for last year's silver medallist, Leon Madsen. The Dane scored just one point in two starts, but added another nine in the rest of the regular phase of the meeting. What's important, Madsen adjusted his equipment in the second part of the meeting, which translated into another win in the last-chance race. In the final, the 2018 Champion gave no chance to his rivals and crossed the finish line as first. Janusz Kołodziej had successful return to the TAURON SEC series. The Pole presented a great form, which translated into direct promotion to the final. TAURON SEC 2022 wild card This year's TAURON Speedway Euro Championship series will begin with the final round on July 2 in Rybnik and will traditionally consist of four rounds (the only exception to that was the pandemic season of 2020 when five rounds were played). This time for the tournament, which will be held in Silesia, the organizers decided to invite someone very well known in the local environment. In this way, with number #16 in the first this year's final of TAURON SEC starts no one else, but Kacper Woryna. The Rybnik center's graduate represented the local team from the beginning of his career until 2020. Later he changed his surroundings and moved to Wlókniarz Czestochowa, where he starts already the second season. SEC: Andzejs Lebedevs wins SEC Challenge! SEC Challenge tournament which was held on the track in Krsko, Slovenia, belonged to Andzejs Lebedevs. He was the winner on Saturday evening. The competition also determined the next four participants of this prestigious cycle in season 2022. Dimitri Berge took second place and Rasmus Jensen, who finished third, completed the podium. Andzejs Lebedevs showed very good performance from the very beginning. After two rounds of competition the Latvian, Rasmus Jensen and unexpectedly Adam Ellis, who replaced injured Janusz Kołodziej, scored all the points. After not very good start Bartosz Smektala charmed with his ride in the second part of the competition. Perfect ride allowed him to advance to Individual European Championships. Polish fans were rubbing their eyes with astonishment after two rounds because situation of Dominik Kubera and Bartosz Smektala was not that colorful. Kubera had 2 points and Smektala had only one

European U23 Team Speedway Championship: SF2 European U23 Team Speedway Championship - SF2 took place in Elgane, Norway. At the end of a hard-fought competition Team Sweden won with 42 points. The second place went to Team Latvia with 39 points, while the third to Team Germany (23 points). Close to the podium the Norvegian team, fourth with 22 points. European U19 Individual Speedway Championship: Qualifying Round 3 The city of Vetlanda, Sweeden, hosted the QR3 of the European U19 Individual Speedway Championship together with the U19 Nordic Championship final. With 15 points home rider Casper Henriksson finished first becoming Nordic Champion. The Danish riders William Drejer dropped one point, finishing second overall, followed by Jesper Knudsen. Nicolai Heiselberg and Mathias Pollestad go straight to the final too, as fourth and fifth. The QR1 will take place in July in Slovakia, the QR2 in September in the Czech Republic, while the Final will be held on September 17th in Hungary. Top the event classification 1. Speedway European Championship: Kubera won in Hungary Third round of the Speedway European Championship in Nagyhalasz, Hungary. It was an exciting meeting with a sunny weather in front of 2.000 home fans. Riders from fifteen different countries raced for the top five places leading into Speedway Euro Championship Challenge. Well prepared and maintained track in Nagyhalasz didn’t leave fans unsatisfactory with excellent racing and a lot of accidents and re-runs. It was up to the last race of each rider to decide riders who will qualify to the SEC Challenge. At the end an additional heat determined riders’ positions and the best was Dominik Kubera. European Under23 Team Speedway Championship: Great Britain qualifies for Final   Semi-Final 1 for the European Under23 Team Speedway Championship in Pardubice, Czech Republic. The meeting was run on a sunny windy day after a big thunderstorm on the previous night. Team from Great Britain showed real class with three equally good riders being led by faultless Daniel Bewley. Team Czech Republic fought to the last heath but two young riders in their team could not match the class of their older English counterparts. Czechs finished second only four points behind. Team France shoved some promise as well as the Team Europe, which had only three riders and therefore could not end up better than last. Final results Team Great Britain, 46 points Team Czech Republic, 42 points Team France, 21 points Team Europe, 11 points Great Britain is qualified for the final round of the European Under 23 Team

European Team Speedway Championship: Poland team flies at home race The new European Championship fired into life last weekend in Poznań, Poland. Welcoming fans from the whole country, the race was live broadcasted on the main TVP Sport Channel. The first ever title was grabbed by Poland, followed by Denmark which had to fight with Great Britain until the last heat for the second position. Martin De Graaff, FIM Europe President “I was happy to join the new European Team Speedway Championship in Poznan. It was many years ago that this event took place. FIM Europe has good Speedway races for the European Championship and this event enriches our calendar. It was good to see team from Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark and Poland fight for the European title in 20 heats, not only for the results as nations, but also as individual. Congratulation to the Polish team for the win!”.
