Snowcross European Championship: 2024 dates announced The FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing are glad to announce the 2024 Snowcross European Championship calendar. The Snowcross European Championship will officially take place together with the FIM Snowcross World Championship. The 2024 season will see two rounds: 13th-14th April - Joensuu, Finland 20th-21st April - Kirkenes, Norway The first one will be in in Joensuu, Finland, on the 13th-14th April. The second largest city in Eastern Finland, is located on the northern shore of Lake Pyhäselkä and surrounded by forests, making it a stunning location to host an event in the natural landscape. The stadium is a permanent horse racing stadium and is perfectly suited to host the Snowcross event with great facilities for both the spectators and teams. Motocross European Championships: 2024 calendar updates The FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing and FIM, is glad to announce two updates to the 2024 Motocross European calendar. Scheduled for the 11th and 12th of May, the MXGP of Galicia in Lugo will host its first-ever MXGP and EMX125 Grand Prix at the spectacular Jorge Prado Municipal Circuit. This event will be the second Grand Prix in Spain in 2024: as a result of this exciting addition, the MXGP and EMX250 round at Intu Xanadú – Arroyomolinos has been anticipated to the 23rd and 24th of March. Motocross European Championships: 2024 calendar updates The FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing and FIM, is excited to unveil updates to the 2024 Motocross European Championships calendar. Maggiora, one of the most historic motocross tracks in the world, is set to host the MXGP of Italy and EMX125 on the 15th and 16th of June. Showing its importance in motocross, the picturesque Italian track has hosted 3 Motocross of Nations and 12 events of the FIM Motocross World Championship. There’s no doubt that the hilly Maggiora track will continue to deliver a fantastic show for the enjoyment of all motocross fans. The MXGP of Flanders at Lommel will see the EMX250 category racing alongside the EMXOpen. EMX125 and EMX250 European Championship: Bonacorsi and Reisulis crowned in Great Britain The ultimate round of the EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing displayed a lot of great racing across the board at the riders’ favourite track of Matterley Basin for the round of Great Britain. In EMX250, it was Team VRT KTM Factory Juniors’ Marc-Antoine Rossi who closed the season from the best of manners with his second overall win of the season in front of his teammate Ferruccio Zanchi and Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Karlis Reisulis who cliched his first podium of the season in third place. This last round witnessed the final decider in EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing that saw MJC Yamaha Official EMX125’s Janis Reisulis taking the European Title on the first race with a dominant win. EMX250 European Championship: Bonacorsi dominates in Turkiye to clinch the title The penultimate round of the EMX250 in Afyon, Turkiye witnessed greatness in the making with many battles and good racing happening over the weekend. In the end, Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi managed to clinch the overall and the EMX250 Championship Title with one round to spare and a 100% podiums which shows the dominance of the Italian this season. Bonacorsi cannot be caught up by Husqvarna BT Racing Team’s Kay Karssemakers in the last round in Great Britain and can enjoy to be a double European Champion following his title in EMX125. EEMX250 European Championship: Bonacorsi gets back to winning ways in Arnhem The Round of Netherlands in EMX250 witnessed many battles across the board. The sand track of Arnhem allowed riders to show all their skills and speed to overtake and fight for the top spots. Red Plate Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi won his 3rd round of the season and kept his 100% podium record this season while extending his lead in the Championship. Fantic Racing MX’s Cas Valk confirmed his emphatic win in Sweden with the 2nd overall while BT Racing Team’s Kay Karssemakers pulled out another podium after fighting hard to come back in the first race.
