European Pairs Speedway Championship:
Team Poland grabs the title at home

The championship has been close and competitive all season with no clear favorite for the crown, but in the end the fireworks fizzled out and Team Poland took the European Pairs Speedway Championship title in the grand Final.

A thrilling night for Przemysław Pawlicki, Szymon Woźniak and Mateusz Cierniak in Opole, Poland, as the champions were not decided until the last series of heats.

At home Team Poland ruled from the beginning and beat Denmark in an exciting heat finished 4:2.

The battle for the third place involved all the other teams, but in the deciding heats it was Finnish pair led by Timo Lahti and Antti Vuolas who claimed the third place on the podium.
