SM & S3 Junior European Championship: double round in Bulgaria Fantastic and renowned all-asphalt Supermoto track in Pleven, Bulgaria, best S1GP venue for a number of seasons in a row, was the host of the last rounds of the 2022 S3 Junior European Championship and rounds 3 and 4 of the SM Junior European Championship, under the perfect organization of the Bulgarian Motorcycle Federation. The weather conditions were very unfriendly on Saturday with rain, however the weather turned better on Sunday. Saturday’s round of SM Junior started with a clear win of Czech rider Matej Kokes (HUQVARNA) in Race 1, who managed to build and maintain a good gap to second place Estonian rider Mathias Vetkin (TM). In both races third and fourth places were respectively for Estonian Rasmus Ebelmann (HUSQVARNA) and Spanish Ramon Godino (YAMAHA), while Vetkin managed to pull a win in the second race to tie Kokes

S3 & SM Junior European Championship Vysoké Myto, Czech Republic, hosted the second round of the SM Junior European Championship and the first one of the S3 European Championship. Local hero Matej Kokes won with ease both heats, followed by the German Lasse Welsch. SM Junior In race1 rider Matěj Kokeš riding for MIRA Racing Team on Husquarna was going to stay as dominant as throughout the whole Saturday. However, since the very start there were no hesitations anymore. Kokeš, who has benefited from the perfect knowledge of his local circuit, managed to start well, and was stretching the lead ever since until the end of the race, lapping first rider already after 5 laps. Supermoto S4 & SM Junior European Championship: Alex Ruiz-Gimnez and Ramon Godino win in Spain Second round for the Supermoto S4 and first one for the SM Junior European Championship in Alcarras, Spain. With the sun out, the spectators found their way to the to Circuit and enjoyed some action full and fast races in the S4 class and the SM Junior class. The overall victory in the S4 class went to Spanish L30 Racing TM Factory rider Alex Ruiz-Gimenez who extends his lead in the championship. The SM Junior class was won by Spanish Yamaha rider Ramon Godin. S4 Race 1 The first race of the Sunday was for the S4 class. Supermoto S4 European Championship: the season starts in Italy First race day of the season for the Supermoto S4 European Championship in Busca, Italy. S4 Race 1 The first race of the Sunday was for the S4 class. At the start it was L30 Racing TM Factory rider Alex Ruiz-Gimenez who took the hole-shot into the first fast corner of the Circuito Internazionale di Busca. Second place was for the teammate of Ruiz, Kevin Vandi who was in his turn followed by FRT2 Racing rider Marco Malone. Fourth place was for Gazza Racing rider Giorgio Cravotto but a small mistake in the first lap made him fall back to last place in the race. In front the two teammates were fighting and already in lap two Vandi overtook Ruiz-Gimenez for the lead with Malone not far behind. Lap after lap the three were battling for every meter of asphalt. S2 - S4 European Championship: Youry Catherine and Marco Malone takes the title Castelletto di Branduzzo circuit welcomed the final round of the S2 - S4 European Championship. With the almost perfect weather conditions, Sunday became a day full of tension and emotions, but with some great Supermoto racing. In the S2 class Gazza Racing rider Youry Catherine took the overall victory in Castelletto and he won the 2021 Supermoto European championship. In the S4 class the victory went to Alessandro Morosi, but the 2021 European Cup victory went the FRT2 Racing rider Marco Malone. S2 Race 1 At 12:20 hours the first race for the S2 class in the Supermoto European Championship took place in perfect weather conditions. SM Junior - S3 - S Senior European Championship: final round in Bulgaria Sunny and hot Pleven, Bulgaria, welcomed the SuperMoto Junior, S3 and Senior riders for the season finale. Day 1 The Juniors had their both races in a standard high competition level with the difference that the championship leader and fastest from the timed practice Giani Gatorc (FRA, KTM), had a technical issue on the first lap of race one and had to retire from the race. This gave chances for Bulgarian Jivko Ivanov (KTM) and Russian Elena Petrishina (Husqvarna) to make a nice race ahead of the other competitors in the class. However, Catorc gave no second chances in race two and secured a podium position, together with Ivanov on top and Petrishina second. Supermoto S2: Romain Kaivers wins in Sestriere in the S2 class In dry and very good weather conditions the riders of the S2 class of the Supermoto European Championship were ready for the battle for the victory in the streets of Sestriere, a former Olympic village in the mountains of the region of Piemonte. The spectators around the track were already present and enjoyed every minute of racing. It was KTM MTR rider Romain Kaivers who took the overall victory in the S2 class, his first for the team of Franco Mollo. S2 Race 1 At the start it was Gazza Racing rider Youry Catherine who took the holeshot into the first very fast corner of the track in Sestriere.
