Your privacy is very important to us and we believe that you should always keep the control over your personal information. This privacy policy informs you about how we access and use the information related to your use of the services offered on the www.fim-europe.com website and on the other digital properties managed by FIM Europe (FIME). WHO WE ARE

The FIM Europe is a European organization acting within its attributions in all matters in relation with motorcycling activities and, as such, in domains ranging from sport, tourism, leisure, environment, mobility, road safety, legislative affairs, protection and defense of the rights and interests of motorcycle users. The FIM Europe is also entitled to exercise any other power that has been entrusted to it by a decision of the Board of Directors or the General Assembly of the FIM which will specify in detail the terms of references and the time limit thereof. As far as motorcycle sport is concerned, the FIM Europe is the supreme and sole European authority empowered by the FIM to control European motorcycling sport activities organized under its jurisdiction throughout Europe. The official titles of European Championships, FIM Europe Cups and any other European competitions and events in all disciplines of the motorcycle sport are the exclusive property of the FIM Europe. Consequently, the FIM Europe can impose technical and economic conditions which it judges necessary for the running of events relative to these titles. The FIM Europe is the sole owner of all television, radio, video cassettes, marketing, advertising, merchandising, promotional, licensing and any other rights for the European Championships and FIM Europe Cups.

SERVICES COVERED BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY: This Privacy Policy applies to all digital services such as websites, newsletters, registration systems offered on the www.fim-europe.com website and other digital properties created and operated by FIME.

REGISTRATION

Our content is generally available on the Services without the need to register as a user. However, there are some documents/information/calendars available in our “Login Area”, whose access is reserved to the European National Motorcycle Federations Members of FIME.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We will collect information about you in different situations, for instance when you register on our Services, when you contact us or when you request a service from us. We may also collect certain information when you visit our Services (also as non-registered user), through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

FIME PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy, as updated from time to time, explains what information about you is collected and how it is processed when you use digital services such as websites, newsletters, registration systems, or online resources offered on the www.fim-europe.com website and other digital properties operated by FIME.

This is for instance the case of certain systems for event registration or reporting mechanisms managed by FIME. You may provide us with information, including personally identifiable information, when you register on the Services, create a user account, communicate with us, complete certain transactions or subscribe to Services such as event registration, professional online resources, or media alerts.

If you have access to our Login area, we will ask you to provide us with your login information and password and the name of your National Motorcycle Federation.

  1. b) Data necessary to provide certain Services

Certain Services may allow you to apply for registration or accreditation to the FIME or other events organised by FIME, or book travel and accommodation related to these events. In such cases, we will inform you of any additional information needed to provide to you the Services that you have requested and of the other conditions applicable to the processing of your personal information for the provisions of such Services.

If you communicate with us and/or request any Service from us, we will use your account information and any other information you may provide us to answer your queries.
