Start of the Supermoto 85cc EC in Pleven (Bulgaria)

fim europe
The second round of the European SuperMoto Championship SM85 and SM3 was organized on the all asphalt circuit of Pleven in Bulgaria. Having in mind the awful weather throughout the weekend, the circuit proved to be a top SuperMoto facility in all weather conditions and a fun playground for those who really do not fear the concrete tabletops and kiwi waves. In class SM85, "the magnificent four" - Hakan Halmi (KTM, Bulgaria), Maximilian Kofler (Husqvarna, Austria) Can Oncu (KTM, Turkey) and Deniz Oncu (KTM, Turkey) made a top notch performace and defined new boundaries of what SuperMoto in the Junior class should be. Max Kofler won the first race in the class, followed by Hakan and the two Oncu brothers, Can - third and Deniz fourth. In the second race, Hakan won with less than a second gap from Max, third, at 0,3 seconds behind was Can, followed by Deniz.

EMX125 in Saint-Jean-de’Angély (France)

fim europe
Round four of the European EMX 125 Championship was held this weekend in Saint Jean d’Angely. As the lads had their 125cc motorcycles completely pinned in the hunt for EMX125 round of France glory, it was Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Brian Hsu who reigned supreme. In race one yesterday Red Bull KTM Racing’s Davy Pootjes took the advantage off the start but was quickly passed by Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Brian Hsu. With Hsu going on to check out for his first win of the season, Pootjes had deemed war with French wonder TMX Competition’s Dan Houzet. After dicing the position a few times throughout the race, Pootjes wound up the victor forcing the fan favorite to settle for third. The word ‘intense’ doesn’t do the EMX125 race any justice. It was so much more especially with two young French sensations Team Yamaha MJC’s David Herbreteau and JPM Racing’s Julien

Second round of Trial European Championship in Alagna Valsesia (Italy)

fim europe
German Franz Kadlec (Beta) is the new leader in the Europe class of the FIM Europe championship, after a convincing victory in Alagna Valsesia, North-West of Italy. Wonderful mountain scenery for this second round, organized in a tourist winter ski-resort village. Twelve sections to repeat three times in a very short loop, easily accessible by spectators. All the sections were completely natural because the venue was rich of any kind of obstacles, Trial competitions require. Scores were quite high for every class, due to a tight application of the no-stop rule. Kadlec started soon very well gaining the leadership after the first lap: he scored 17 points. Italian Luca Cotone (Sherco) scored 2 points more, while the winner of the previous round, Belgian Maxime Warenghien (Sherco), was in third with 24 mistakes. Werenghien got his revenge in second lap: he scored 16 and overtook provisionally Cotone, who worsened a little
