EMX65, EMX85 NW in Varsseveld (The Netherlands)

fim europeThe fourth round of the Motocross European Championship EMX 65 and EMX 85 North West Europe Zone were held this weekend in Varsseveld (The Netherlands), in sunny and warm weather. Practice and Qualifying races were made on Saturday on a well prepared track.

In the first race in the EMX 65cc class was Danish Rasmus Pedersen (KTM) the fastest rider, number two Swedish Noel Nilsson (KTM), and on the third place Russian Nikita Kucherov (KTM). The second race in this class, again was Rasmus Pedersen the fastest rider, and number two this time was Nikita Kucherov followed by German Ben Hess (Husqvarna).

The first race in the EMX 85cc class was the winner Spanish Jorge Prado Garcia (KTM), on the second place Belgian Jago Geerts (KTM), and number three Dutch Roan van de Moosdijk (KTM). The second race in the 85cc class was won by Jago Geerts in front of Jorge Prado Garcia and Dutch Rick Elzinga (KTM).

In the provisional rankings, Rasmus Pedersen is the leader of the 65cc class with full score of 200 points, followed by Nikita Kucherov (127 points) and Swedish Noel Nilsson (123 points). Jorge Prado Garcia is the leader of the 85cc class with 179 points, in front of Jago Geerts with 169 points and Finnish Kim Savaste with 120 points.

Next round of the North Western leg of the 65cc and 85cc Championship will take place in Jinin (Czech Republic) on the 21st and 22nd of June.
