The 3rd round of the FIM European Honda Junior Cup took place this weekend on the Imola circuit. 22 riders from 14 nations went to the start. The race developed into a very exciting competition. A group of 11 riders battled lap after lap for the podium. In round 6, there were still 10 and in the last lap it was only 7. The winner was Augusto FERNANDEZ in front of Javier ORELLANA and Josh HARLAND all Spanish riders. The 3rd round of the FIM European Championship took place today on the Imola circuit (Italy). The Italian Rider Marco Faccani went on to start in the lead and won ahead of the Finn Niki Tuuli and Stefano Casa Lotti (Italy). Marco Faccani (San Carlo Team Italia Kawasaki) narrows thus his gap to the leader of the FIM Europe Superstock 600 Championship Tuuli after taking a lights to flag victory in the third round of the series at Imola today. Behind Faccani, a titanic race long battle kept the crowd entertained with eventually Niki Tuuli (Kallio Racing Yamaha) and Stefano Casalotti (VFT Racing Yamaha) completing the podium. Tackling the territory of the EMX125’s latest dominant force, Red Bull KTM Racing’s Davy Pootjes proved to be tough this weekend as the youngsters lined up here in the sand of Valkenswaard for round three of the European Championship EMX125. With a full gate of screaming two-strokes, the gates dropped for race two and the ‘play-to-win’ mentality set in. After Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Brian Hsu went down hard on the start straight, only a few turns later there was even more carnage when at least six riders went down in a pile. The EMX150cc Motocross European Championship started today in the Dutch track of Valkenswaard. Jere Haavisto collected the overall win in Valkenswaard after a thrilling second race that went right to the wire. Race one victor and local wildcard Rick Elzinga pushed the flying-Fin all the way but was forced to settle for second, while Matias Murto made it back-to-back third place finishes. The second round of the South Western qualification leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 (after the cancellation for rain of the first round in Castelnau de Levis) was held in Paroldo (Italy). In the first race of 85cc. Class the San Marino rider n. 319 Andrea Zanotti in TM, beginning in the four position and in the middle of the race took the first position until the finish line. In second place was the Italy rider n. 357 Manuele Ulivi and the third place the French rider n. 214 Maurice Chanton. In the second race the winner was the Italian rider nr. 250 Lugana Paolo in KTM that took the place at six lap until the final. In second place was the French rider n. 324 Maxim Charlier that in the last lap took the place of the Italian rider n. 272 Giacomo Zancarini. In the first race 65cc. class

The first semi-final of the speedway Pairs European Championship was held yesterday in Debrecen (Hungary). 2.200 spectators watched impressive speedway meeting. Heavy rain interrupted meeting for more than 1 hour. Winning pair from Latvia with 23 points, second from Russia with 22 points, and home Hungarian pair with 19 points. The new place for the fourth and final round of the Enduro-European-Championship will be in the Czech Republik, in Uhliřské Janovice at 6th and 7th of September 1214. Well known by the riders, while there was already an heat last year. The organizer helped quick, when the original planned final in Hungaria could not take place. Now the "EnduroKlub Uhliřské Janovice v ACR" will organize the final as a regular 2-days-competition - without the extravagant final-cross at the last day. Apart from the Czech Republic still Latvia, Estonia and Portugal had applied for hosting the final run. The first round of the North Eastern qualification leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 and the first round of the EMX Open Motocross European Championship were held this weekend in Orlyonok (Russia). In the EMX65 class only one heat was held with the winner Russian Maksim Kasatkin (KTM). In the EMX85cc class with two victories Russian Timur Petrashin managed to win the overall rankings of the day. In the EMX Open the winner of the first heat was Russian Semen Rogozin, while in the second race winner was Belarussian Evgeni Tyletski. Overall winner of the day was Rogozin with 45 points. The second round of the European Juionr Cup powered by Honda was held today in Assen (The Netherlands). The six lap race of the Pata European Junior Cup, powered by Honda was held today under rainy conditions. Spaniard Augusto Fernandez (WIL Sport) managed to win his first race of the season, the second one in the series so far, edging out Sweden's Jesper Hubner (Honda Sweden) and pole sitter Marc Miralles (Honda Spain), who is still the points leader after the second race of the season. The first round of the South Western leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship was to held this weekend in Castelnau-de-Levis (France). The first race of the 85 cc class was stopped with the red flag because many riders fell in a slope and stayed stuck in the mud. It was impossible to ride in several places of the track. The first aid workers could not walk and move on the track it was too slippery and muddy. The track was too dangerous. The Jury decided that all races in 85 cc and 65 cc classes are cancelled for security reasons. The first race of the 85 cc class was stopped with the red flag 10.08 minutes after the start. According to the FIM Europe rules, the half of the race time was not made. As a result there is no classification for this event. Next round of
