The second round of the South Western qualification leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 and the third round of the EMXOpen were held this weekend in Prilipe Brezice (Slovenia). Qualifying races was held on Saturday on a very vet track, and it was very difficult for the EMX 65cc class because of the small wheels, and fastest time was in this class made by Eric Thomas (ESP) KTM, in the EMX 85cc the best time was made by Brian Moreau Strubhart (FRA) KAWASAKI and Evgeny Tyletski (BLR) KTM made the best time in the Open class Sunday on a perfect track, sunny and 27dgr. The EMX 85cc made the first race, and the fastest rider was Brian Moreau Strubhart (FRA) KAWASAKI, on the second place Jan Pancar (SLO) YAMAHA, and on the third place Tom Vialle (FRA) YAMAHA. The fourth round of the Honda Junior Cup was held today in Donington Park. The weather for the Free Practice and 1st qualifying session on Friday was dry but cloudy. On Saturday the conditions were not good with a wet qualifying session, however all 21 riders qualified to race. On Sunday the race was declared a wet race, with 21 riders starting the race. The weather conditions improved during the race and 8 riders competed closely for the top places. Javier Orellana (Europ Food SL) has come out victorious in the 10 lap Pata European Junior Cup race. The 16 year old from Mallorca, Spain, who is currently contesting his third season in the series, was able to take the lead and to get a small margin on the five-rider chasing pack on the last lap, crossing the line ahead of Angelo Licciardi (S.E.F.A.B Racing), Augusto Fernandez (WIL Sport), Illan

The second round of the Honda EMX150 4Stroke and the third round of the EMX250 and EMX300 Motocross European Championships were held this weekend in Matterley Basin (Great Britain). Track compound was close to perfect for race two offering a pleasant change to the slushy surface of yesterday. In the Honda EMX150 overall victory to British Albie Wilkie with two wins, followed by Australian hugh McKay and Finnish Jere Haavisto. In the EMX250, the overall winner was Belgian Brent Van Doninck (KTM) with two second positions, followed by Spanish Jorge Zaragoza (Kawasaki) third and fourth position. The winner of the first heat was British Ben Watson (KTM) and the winner of the second heat was French Sullivan Jaulin (Kawasaki). This years first round of the FIM Europe Honda NSF 100 Cup was held today in fine weather. The great venue Kartarena is located in the West of Czech Republic – just outside Cheb. For 2014 the circuit was slightly modified (200m longer with two additional corners). The first race showed a very close battle for the podium positions between Dirk Geiger (GER), Peetu Paavilainen (FIN) and Petr Svoboda (CZE). Behind this group it was Troy Bude (GER) on a comfortable 4th place. The second race seemed to be a smooth copy of race number one. Just the gaps between all riders were a little bit bigger – except for the fight for the 5th position. There it was again Oliver König (CZE) and Lucas Schaba (GER), but finally in reverse order. The second round of the North Eastern qualification leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 was held this weekend in Pakruojis Petrasiunai (Lithuania).There were present 24 riders to EMX 85 and 27 riders to EMX 65. During two days was very hot therefore condition for riders was heavy. Freimanis Kristian EMX 65 from Latvia won two races and he has 50 pts, Kraev Maksim EMX 65 from Russia was two races second places and he has 44 pts. The first race third was Petrov Nikita EMX 65 from Russia ,and second race third was Valovich Daniel EMX 65 from Bialerus. Hiiemagi Andreas EMX 85 from Estonia won two races and he has 50 pts,Petrashin Timur EMX 85 from Russia was two races second place and he has 44 pts.The first race to EMX 85 third place had Vettik Meico from Estonia, and second race third place had Zuks Rainers from Latvia.

Yesterday the semifinal for the Team Speedway U21 European Championship was held at the track of Plzen (CZE). Unfortunately the nominated team of Russia had withdrawn and had to be replaced by a mixed European squad. Together with teams coming from Finland, Sweden and the host nation Czech Republic they were racing for the last qualification place for the final. During the whole meeting a close fight was going on between Czech Republic and Sweden which saw the team of Czech Republic win on 45 points, just 2 points ahead of 2nd placed team Sweden on 43 points. Team Finland finished 3rd on 26 points and Team Euro with 4 points on 4th place. The spectators could see ambitious speedway youngsters fighting for their team and country against each other. The Semi-Final 3 of the Individual Speedway European Championship was held today in Zarnovica (Slovakia). More than 3 000 spectators watched an impressive meeting with very good line up. Unfortunately meeting was finished after heat 20 before run-offs after heavy rain falls. Top five riders qualified for Challenge :Janusz Kolodziej,Peter Kildemand, Joonas Davidsson,Adrian Miedzinski and Tomas Suchanek. The FIME has received the communication from the Circuit of Albacete cancelling the Road Race event envisaged for October the 5th. The reason for the annulation of the event, as well as the impossibility for it to be held for the years 2015-16-17, is due to the decision of the consortium of the Albacete Road Racing Circuit, which has approved its financial scheme in the following years. The second event of the SE zone in classes EMX65, EMX85 and EMX OPEN was held in Croatian track Mladina in Jastrebarsko. Mladina track is known for very hard weather conditions and this time was the same as expected. On Saturday practices must be canceled because the track was so muddy that riding was impossible. Therefore Warm ups must be used as qualifications. Because of muddy conditions the track must be shortened. In first races the track was still muddy. In class EMX65 first race won Moldavian rider TIMUS Nikolai folowed home rider PISKOR Dominik on second and SAGMALIS Antonis from Greece on third. In second race SAGMALIS Antonis von in front of TIMUS Nikolai. Third finished home ridir PISKOR Dominik. The second round of the European SuperMoto Championship was organized on the circuit of Arad, Romania, after ten year of absence in the calendar. The previous event was organized in 2004. In class SM2, Devon Vermulen (NED) with TM won both heats and kept the red plate of the Championship leader with fourth consecutive win since the beginning of the series this year. In Romania, Devon was followed by Yuri Guardala (ITA) with Honda, who saw the chequered flag in both heats at the second positions. The third place on the podium was occupied by Toni Klem (FIN) with KTM.
