Motocross European Championships: calendars updates FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing are excited to reveal that this season, the European calendars will see two Grand Prix’s taking place in Turkey, with the MXGP of Turkey and MXGP of Afyon. The Turkish double-header will see rounds of the EMXOpen and EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkey has successfully managed and kept the virus under control with its strong health system and therefore it has been decided to hold one more round of MXGP in Afyonkarahisar, the City of Sports. This year’s Turkish Grand Prix will host the first double-header of 2021 under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey. The MXGP of Turkey will go ahead as originally planned on the 4th and 5th of September, while the second event, the MXGP of Afyon will take place mid-week on the following Tuesday and Wednesday,

EMX 2T European Championship and EMX Open European Championship: Jost and Spies take victories in Czech Republic Races in Loket, Czech Republic, have concluded with victories by Simon Jost in the EMX Open category and Maximilian Spies of Fantic Factory Team Maddii in EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing. EMX 250 European Championship and EMX Open European Championship: the Dutch rule in Oss as Elzinga and De Waal win in EMX Saturday’s race action in Oss is done and dusted with Dutch riders Rick Elzinga from TBS Conversions KTM Racing Team and Micha-Boy De Waal of No Fear/Jumbo BT Racing Team victorious in the EMX250 and EMX Open categories. Both riders were met by an eager Dutch crowd who urged them on from start to finish as they craved their way through the sand on their way to victory. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone and EMX Women' European Championship: race time in Estonia This weekend Pärnu Airport Motopark hosted the rounds of EMX Women and EMX 85 / EMX 65 North East zone. German Anne Borchers won her first EMX Women overall this season, while Latvian Janis Martins Reisulis dominated EMX 85 and Estonian Lucas Leok EMX 65 races.
Anne Borchers (Suzuki) grabbed the EMX Women race1 took the lead when Dutch Shana van der Vlist (KTM) attacked and started to pull away from the rest of the pack. With a good pace and speed, he won with 10 seconds on Borchers. Third position for was Mathea Selebu (Yamaha), who didn't have the enough speed to get the second place.

EMX 125 and EMX Open European Championship: Osterhagen and Zonta dominate in Maggiora Opening round of the EMX Open and round two of the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing championship. Haakon Osterhagen of Fantic Factory Racing Team Maddii continued his winning streak to secure his first 1-1 in the EMX championship, meanwhile Filippo Zonta celebrated a victory on home soil in the same fashion, winning both races. In the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing category it was Fantic Factory Racing Team Maddii’s Haakon Osterhagen who continued his winning streak, adding two more race wins to his scorecard as he dominated the class once again. Joining him on the podium was Italian Valerio Lata of MRT Racing Team KTM and Kay Karssemakers of Husqvarna SKS Racing.  the European season started in Great Britain The EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing opening rounds have concluded in Matterley Basin, with Fantic Factory Team Maddii riders Nicholas Lapucci and Haakon Osterhagen dominating the field with overall victories. It has been the perfect day for racing with great weather and awesome British crowds who turned out to support the EMX riders as they kicked off round 1 of 2021. EMX250  In the EMX250 class it was Nicholas Lapucci of Fantic Factory Team Maddii who conquered the rest of the field, taking two race wins to secure the top spot on the podium as well as the championship lead.  Third round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South East zone in Krusevac – Globare, Serbia. Riders from Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Serbia took part to the race for the Final. EMX85 Once again, the Bulgarian Ventislav Toshev (HUSQVARNA) won both EMX85 races. Race 1 ahead of Bulgarian Danail Stefanov (GAS GAS), while in race 2 ahead of Hungarian Ferenc Orlov (HUSQVARNA) and Stefanov. The Hungarian rider missed the podium after crashing out in the first race, therefore the second overall position went to Stefanov. Mihnea Banu (YAHAMA) from Romania got the third step of the podium after finishing third in the first race and fourth in the second. Motocross European Championships: calendars updates   The FIM Europe would like to inform of some updates to the 2021 Motocross Championships calendars. Firstly, together with Infront Moto Racing, is pleased to confirm the venue for the MXGP of France on the 9th-10th of October, as Lacapelle-Marival. The circuit, located in the southwest of France is not entirely new to the FIM Motocross World Championship. Additionally, the round of Latvia in Kegums, originally scheduled on the 10th & 11th of July, will now move to the 7th & 8th of August, meanwhile the races of Sweden in Uddevalla will no longer take place in 2021 and are postponed to the 2022 season. EMX 65 / EMX 85 / EMX Women' European Championships: Lithuania and Turkey welcomed the MX riders This weekend the Lithuanian city of Siauliai hosted the third round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 North East zone and the first of Women’ championship, welcoming 63 riders from 13 different countries. Race1of EMX85 was ruled by Russian rider Semen Rybakov. He was faster than Latvian Janis Martins Reisulis, winner of the first round in Ukraine, and second in Lithuania. Third place for Gregor Kuusk from Estonia. In Race2 Polish rider Bartosz Jaworski leaded for a long time, but in the end won again Rybakov. Third on the podium Markuss Ozolins from Latvia. Rybakov won also the Overall in front of Reisulis and Jaworski. EMX65 Race1 saw an Estonian domination with the same winner of last week.  second round in Poland The second round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone took place in Polish city Gdansk. In the EMX85 first round ruler Janis Martins Reisulis from Latvia missed the race. Lithuanian rider Marius Adomaitis won race1 at the end of a hard-fought battle with Latvian young talent Markuss Ozolins (GasGas). Third position for Russian Semen Rybakov, who won the second heat although home rider Dawid Zaremba leaded for a long time. In race2 home rider Bartosz Jaworski finished second in front of Ozolins. Overall results: 1. Semen Rybakov; 2. Markuss Ozolins; 3. Bartosz Jaworski. In EMX65 class the Estonian Lucas Leok ruled both race1 and race2.
