EMX Open European Championship: De Bortoli secures the title With the final races of the EMXOpen Championship decided, Davide De Bortoli celebrated his title victory as Honda SR Motoblouz’s Nicolas Dercourt secured his first overall victory of the season to win the round of Afyon in Turkey. De Bortoli entered the day’s races knowing that he only needed to finish the opening race in order to secure the gold plate, though this did not mean that the Italian didn’t push for the win in both races despite that. As the gate dropped for race one it was De Bortoli with the holeshot ahead of Dercourt and Simone Croci. JD Gunnex KTM Racing’s Tomasz Wysocki was right there as well along with Matej Jaros and Krisztian Tompa. EMX Open European Championship: round one of two in Turkey EMX Open Championship leader Davide De Bortoli secured his first overall victory of the season in Afyonkarahisar, as he gets one step closer to wrapping up the EMX Open title with a round to go. In the first race, it was De Bortoli who took the holeshot from Nicolas Dercourt of Honda SR Motoblouz ahead of JD Gunnex KTM Racing’s Tomasz Wysocki and Simone Croci. Croci wasted no time to get around Wysocki, while Dercourt was keeping close to De Bortoli for the win. De Bortoli then set the fastest lap of the race as the gap opened up to 2.254 seconds though Dercourt was able to bring that back and get onto the Italian’s back wheel as he searched for a way through. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship: NW and SW final rounds South West zone The final round was hosted in the beautiful area of Prilipe-Brezice, Slovenia, close to border with Croatia. In EMX65 more as 12 riders and in EMX 85 more as 15 riders are still in the run for top 8 positions which give them direct entrance to the finals in Riola Sardo, Italy. In EMX65 race1 holeshot by zone leader Uccellini, who with a start to finish lead got the victory ahead of two Austrian riders, Ernecker and Bauer. In race2 Bauer took the lead and maintained it until 4 minutes before the end, when Uccellini comes to first place. In EMX85 race1 holeshot by the Italian Mantovani. Barbieri took the lead but after a little mistake Ernecker moved up from second place. He was pushed to the finish by Barbieri who couldn’t pass anymore. Third

EMX 250 European Championship and EMX Open European Championship: Horgmo and Krestinov top the podium in Latvia Fourth round for the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone and sixth for the EMX Women's European Championship in Le Due, France. EMX65 Holeshot for the Austrian Ernecker Moritz. In Race1 the fight was between three riders: at the end Ernecker ahead of the French Goyer and the Italian Uccellini. Race2 was similar until the last lap, with three riders fighting for the victory. In the last lap Ernecker made a mistake and Goyer remained behind him. Uccellini took the occasion to passed both, winning the race and the overall. Second position both in race2 and in the overall for Goyer. Ernecker managed to arrive 6th and 3rd overall. Motocross European Championships Calendar Update: EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing Rounds Three and Four Postponed The FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing would like to inform that rounds three and four of the EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing will not go ahead as originally planned in Turkey on the 4th and 7th of September and instead will be postponed to a later date with a new venue to be announced shortly. Meanwhile the rounds of Turkey and Afyon on the same dates will still see the EMX Open event running as already confirmed. More news on the venues that will host the final rounds of the EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing series will be released shortly as we prepare to crown this year’s champion. EMX 250 European Championship and EMX Open European Championship: Horgmo and Krestinov top the podium in Latvia The European Championship races saw Kevin Horgmo of SM Action Racing Team YUASA Battery took an overall victory in EMX250 to edge closer to the series leader Nicholas Lapucci of Fantic Factory Team Maddii. While KMP Honda Racing’s Gert Krestinov made a perfect wildcard appearance in the EMX Open class to go 1-1 and take the overall win. In the first EMX250 race it was Maxime Grau of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing who was the leading rider as he headed into the first and second corner. There were a few riders caught up in some crashes during the first two laps, this included Tom Guyon of Team VHR KTM Racing and Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Andrea Bonacorsi. Grau’s time in the lead didn’t last long as Liam Everts of Liamski KTM jumped into the lead, as Kevin Horgmo of SM Action Racing Team YUASA

EMX 250 European Championship and EMX 2T European Championship: Fantic Factory Team Maddii riders Lapucci and Spies win in Lommel European races in Lommel saw another successful day for Fantic Factory Team Maddii riders Nicholas Lapucci and Maximilian Spies as the pair were victorious in the EMX250 and EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing categories and went on to extend their championship leads. EMX250 In the first EMX250 race of the day, it was Lapucci who took the holeshot and was closely followed by SM Action YUASA Battery Racing Team’s Kevin Horgmo as a few riders got caught out after the first corner. Lapucci then led Horgmo, Cornelius Toendel of Riley Racing as well as Jorgen-Matthias Talviku of No Fear/Jumbo BT Racing and Dave Kooiker of Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing. Meanwhile Horgmo was not letting Lapucci run away with it as he set the fastest lap time of the race and was keeping close with the Fantic rider.
