Superstock 600cc European Championship and Junior Cup in Monza (Italy)

The third round of the Superstock 600cc Road Racing European Championship and the European Junior Cup were held this weekend in Monza (Italy). The competition was held under difficult weather conditions between 6 degrees and 22 degrees. In addition, the weekend was both rain and sun. Both classes had very fine sporting results and there was fighting between many riders. EC Superstock 600 was marked by rain throughout the whole race. The start of the EC Superstock 600 was delayed 45 minutes after viewing the 3 minutes of the sign due to rain at the back of the field and then it developed to the whole track and race were publicly as "Wet Race" and shortened to 9 laps. The winner was Italian Nicolas Jr Morrentino (Yamaha), followed by Italian Luca Salvadori (Yamaha) and Italian Manuel Tatasciore (Yamaha). Supermoto European Championship in Arad (Romania)

The first event of 2013 SuperMoto European Championship started this weekend in Arad for the classes SM Junior, S3 and OPEN with a good number of participants in the Junior Class – 13 riders. The circuit and its facilities are excellent, the riders appreciate very much his technical part of asphalt as well his off road section. In SM Junior class both the heats were won by the Austrian rider Andreas Kofler (KTM) after two enthusiastic fights with the Bulgarian Hakan Halmi (KTM) solved at few laps from the ends. The last place of the podium has been occupied by the Romanian Cristian Baciu (Honda) who finished both the races in third position. The Kids Trophy, reserved to the riders with motorcycle of 65cc., was won by the Austrian Andreas Kofler (KTM) followed by the Romanian Hunor Szfarli (Kawasaki) second and the Bulgarian Dimitar Petrov (KTM) third. EMX Open European Championship in Mladina (Croatia)

The second round of the EMX Open Motocross European Championship was held this weekend in Mladina in Jastrebarsko (Croatia). Mladina track is known for very hard weather conditions and also this time was the same. On Saturday, with very hot conditions with 32 degrees, Qualification Race was won by home rider No. 99 Matejin JAROS in front of Latvian rider No. 171 Toms MACUKS and another Croatian rider No.251 Marko LELJAK. Early in the evening starts heavy storm and rains over the night. Conditions on the track in the morning were so hard that schortcuts were required to enable race. Warm up was held during rain, but after that rain stopped and first race was held in cloudy weather with muddy conditions on the track. EMX65 and EMX85 South-East Motocross in Troyan (Bulgaria)

The Bulgarian motocross track of Troyan was the host of the third round of the European Championship 65cc-85cc South-Eastern Zone. Bulgarian Ivelin Manev (KTM) got in the lead and did not surrender top spot until the finish flag was waved to win first race of EMX85. Bulgarian home-crowd really appreciated the efforts of the little Bulgarian rider who was chased until the very end of the race by second place Croatian Luka Crnkovic (KTM). Third place went to Bulgarian Hakan Halmi (KTM). Second race of the EMX85 was dominated by the runner-up of the first race: Luka Crnkovic (KTM). He got the best start and stayed in the lead for all 13 laps of the race. EMX125 2stroke and EMX250 European Championship in Agueda (Portugal)

The second round of the EMX125cc 2stroke and the first round of the EMX250 Motocross European Championship were held this weekend in Agueda (Portugal). The EMX125 saw Henry Jacobi fastest off the gate, claiming the lead on the opening lap. The victory went to Latvian rider Pauls Jonass (KTM), in front of German Henry Jacobi (KTM) and third position to French Nicolad Dercourt (Yamaha). In the provisional rankings Jonass is the leader with 75 points in front of Dutch Calvin Vlaanderen. In the new race format of the EMX250cc class, in the early stages of the race it was Damon Graulus who took the all important holeshot and led the opening lap followed by a charging series of riders in the form of Tim Gajser, Valentin Guillod, Jeremy Seewer, Ceriel Klein Kromhof and Micha-Boy De Waal. The second round in the European Championship in the classes EMX 65cc, EMX 85cc and EMX Open was held today in Orlyonok (Russia). The Italian motocross track of Castiglione del Lago, located near the city of Perugia was the host of the second round of the European Championship 65cc-85cc South-Western Zone. As usual in Italy, the track was greatly prepared and the little riders were eager to race. Italian Gianluca Facchetti (Suzuki) managed to impose himself as the winner of the first EMX85 race. He was the only leader of the race being on the top spot from the start to finish. French rider Ludovic Bompar (KTM) did not get the best start and after lap one he was just outside top 10. Start of the Supermoto EC in Capua (Italy)

Circuite Internationale del Volturno in Capua (Italy) was the host of the first round of European Supermoto ES2+Young Trophy Championship 2013. First race was dominated by the runner-up of the 2012 season: Dutch Devon Vermeulen (KTM) took the holeshot and lead the race from start to finish. French rider Frederic Guerin (Suzuki) pressed Vermeulen to make a mistake for the complete 15 laps of the race but was unable to make a pass and saw himself on the second place. Third step of the podium went to Malachi Mitchell-Thomas from Great Britain (TM). Second race started after the same scenario: Vermeulen (KTM) managing to start in front of the pack with Guerin (Suzuki) close on his tracks. In the third lap Vermeulen makes a braking mistake and parts the track for a short while but manages to get back and maintain his position. Few laps later Guerin closed the gap

The second round of the Superstock 600cc Road Racing european Championship and the European Junior Cup were held this weekend in Assen (The Netherlands). The competition was held under difficult weather conditions between 6 degrees and 22 degrees. In addition, the weekend was both rain and sun. Both classes had very fine sporting results and there was fighting between many riders. EC Superstock 600 had a very exciting conclusion with 5 riders who finished within 1 second. Belgian Gauthier Duwelz (Yamaha) confirmed the victory of Aragon, followed by Australian Adrian Nestorovic (Yamaha) and Swiss Bastien Chesaux (Honda). FIM European Junior Cup was played with very close competition where the winner, the Dutch Bo Bendsneijder (Honda), was not found between 1 drivers in the final corner before the finish line.
