Second round of EMX250 European Championship in Ernee (France)

Round two of the EMX250 European Championship took place today at the spectator friendly circuit of Ernée, France, where Guillod Motorsport’s Valentin Guillod claimed his second victory of the 2013 season. Jeremy Seewer was second and Cereil Klein Kromhof completed the top three. In the opening stages of the race it was Ceriel Klein Kromhoff who took the lead followed by Valentin Guillod, Brian Bogers and Killian Auberson. While the Dutchman Klein Kromhoff was charging out front, there was no holding off the wrath of the current red plate holder Swiss Valentin Guillod who managed to pass Klein Kromhoff around mid race and lead until the finish. Starting from outside the top five Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Jeremy Seewer put in an outstanding ride. Despite the narrow track Seewer managed to push his way through the pack passing Klein Kromhoff in the closing stages of the race to finish second

Semi-Final 2 of the Individual Speedway Junior EC in Malilla (Sweden)

The second Semi-Final of the Individual Speedway Junior European Championship was held yesterday in the Swedish track of Malilla. The winner of this Semi-Final round was Swedish Oliver Berntzon followed by two Danish riders: Rasmus Jensen and Mikkel Michelsen. Agreement Between Honda Motor Europe and FIM Europe

The FIM Europe is pleased to announce the agreement reached with Honda Motor which aim is to improve the 150 cc. Motocross European Championship open to young riders from 11 to 14 years, which will start in Lausitzring (Germany) July 28. The Honda Motor Europe, has decided to invest more in this Championship giving the young people the possibility to use 21 bikes for free. The riders of those motorcycles will be selected through a special training camp organized by the FIM Europe with its technical staff in Lausitzring July 23 and 24, days previous the first round of the Championship. It is with this kind of initiatives that Honda Motor Europe wishes to overcome the present European difficult economic moment and preventing many young riders to compete at international level. Enduro European Championship arrives in France!

The second round of the Enduro European Championship will be held from the 8th to the 9th of June in Bar-sur-Seine, a beautiful small commune in the Aube department in north-central France in the Champagne-Ardenne region. 160 riders, representing 14 European countries, registered to this important event in the E1 Junior, E2+3 Junior, U 20, E1 Senior, E2 Senior, E3 Senior, Veteran, Women classes. Each day they will be required to complete three laps of a special ring specifically designed by the organisers, plus three additional special tests. (UEM Press Release 57/2013)

EMX65 and 85 SE Europe in Haskovo (Bulgaria)

The fifth round of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship (South Eastern leg) was held yesterday in Haskovo (Bulgaria). Saturday welcomed the riders with sunny and hot weather, hard pack track for the practices and the qualifying race. On Sunday, the weather conditions changed dramatically in the morning - non stop heavy rain during the whole day and low temperatures. The difficult weather conditions and the heavy mud on the track forced the organizers to cancel the second races for both classes EMX65 and EMX85. However the first race of the EMX65 saw a victory of the current leader of the standings for the SE Zone - Tommaso Bertotto from Hungary (KTM), followed by the Moldovian Igor Cuharciuc (KTM) and third finished Dimitar Petrov from Bulgaria with KTM. EMX65 and 85 NE Europe and EMX Open in Kyiv (Ukraine)

The second round in the North Eastern qualification leg of the EMX 65cc and EMX 85cc and the fifth round of the EMX Open were held today in Kyiv (Ukraine). The track is situated in good position for the spectators, hard pack track. The weather was warm and sunny, 25 degrees. In class 65cc in race 1, first place Timur Petrashin (KTM) from Russia, second place Kraev Maxim (KTM) from Russia, third place Pronenko Svyatoslav (KTM) from Russia. In race 2, first place Kraev Maxim (KTM) from Russia, second place Mykola Moskaluk (KTM) from Ukraine, third place Pronenko Svyatoslav (KTM) from Russia. Start of the Trial EC in Tanvald (Czech Republic)

According to what predicted, Sweden Eddie Karlsson (JTG), Italians Matteo Poli (Ossa) and Luca Cotone (Gas Gas) occupied the podium keeping this order in the top class of the first round of the UEM FIM Europe Trial Championship, held at Tanvald, Czech Republic. Very tough competition due to the terrible weather that even today did not save the riders by the rain, as already happened the day before in the other competition scheduled for this event. In addition to the weather, the “non stop” rule made riders at least perplexed because they normally ride in different way in their own countries. Karlsson won quite clear on the Italian couple, gaining the leadership from the first lap and eventually improving his score in the second part of the competition. Trial Women and Youth EC in Tanvald (Czech Republic)

British Jack Price (Gas Gas) and Emma Bristow (Sherco) are the first winners in their respectively championship, the Youth's and the Women's in this very wet round held at Tanvald, Czech Republic. More than 60 brave young riders and women coming from 14 different countries spent about 4 hours in the rain to fight on the very slippery rocks that the wonderful well known Tanvald's forest offered. Among the Youth's , Price had his hard time in having the upper hand on German Franz Kadlec (Gas Gas) and British Dan Peace (Beta). The former scored the same points and the same number of cleans (15) of him and was beaten by just one “dab” less. Introduction to the first Trial EC round in Tanvald (Czech Republic)

The 2013 UEM FIM Europe Trial European Championship is on the go with a two-days event in Tanvald, North Czech Republic, this week-end. On Saturday it is scheduled the first of three rounds of the Youth Cup and Women Championship. On Sunday the usual four classes of the real European Championship that this year consists of 4 rounds. Nearly 150 riders have already sent their entry-forms for a championship always live nevertheless the world economic crisis. In the woods of this well known Trial venue, on Saturday the very young riders and the best women will fight on 12 sections to do twice. Still two loops the day after, but 15 hazards to be faced by the most blazoned pilots.
