Start of the Honda NSF European Cup in Cheb (Czech Republic)

fim europeThis years first round of the FIM Europe Honda NSF 100 Cup was held today in fine weather. The great venue Kartarena is located in the West of Czech Republic – just outside Cheb. For 2014 the circuit was slightly modified (200m longer with two additional corners).

The first race showed a very close battle for the podium positions between Dirk Geiger (GER), Peetu Paavilainen (FIN) and Petr Svoboda (CZE). Behind this group it was Troy Bude (GER) on a comfortable 4th place. The second race seemed to be a smooth copy of race number one. Just the gaps between all riders were a little bit bigger – except for the fight for the 5th position. There it was again Oliver König (CZE) and Lucas Schaba (GER), but finally in reverse order.

The next round of the Honda NSF 100 Cup will take place together with all Mini Road Racing European Championship classes (Junior A/B, Senior Open 40/50 and Mini GP 50). This event will take place from 8th to 10th of August – also at the beautiful circuit of Cheb.
