European U19 Individual Speedway Cup: Semi Final 1 After one year the European U19 Individual Speedway Cup was back to Pardubice Stadium, Czech Republic, for the Semi Final 1. Excellent time for spectators and riders, fighting for the eight positions of the Final. Great performance for the 2018 champion Mads Hansen from Denmark. SEC Speedway European Championship: Final Leon Madsen won the second round of the SEC Speedway European Championship held on Saturday’s evening in Torun, Poland. Dane topped the podium, leaving Grigorii Laguta, Kacper Woryna and Nicki Pedersen behind. After the round in Guestrow, it was Grigorii Laguta who had come to Torun with a leader’s golden jacket. Russian rider had had a three-point advantage over second – Bartosz Smektała and four points over Leon Madsen and Antonio Lindbaeck. Meeting started from jumping a gun, because in the first heat of the day, Paweł Przedpełski made a start way quicker than the referee pressed the button. In the second attempt, Kacper Woryna grabbed the win and in the first series of starts, “threes” appeared next to Leon Madsen, Jarosław Hampel and Adrian Miedzinski. SEC Speedway European Championship: Final 1

SEC Speedway European Championship: Final 1 Final 1 of the SEC Speedway European Championship was raced on 13th July in Güstrow, Germany. In front of 5.000 spectators the Russian Grigorii Laguta topped the podium. In the decisive heat of the night Laguta rocked the German crowd, starting from the first gate and even though Madsen attacked him hard, he was still able to take this win up to the last meters. Title's defender (from 2011) Leon Madsen finished 2nd, while the U21 World Champion Bartosz Smektała was 3rd. Under the podium 4th position for Antonio Lindbaeck and 5th for Leon Madsen. Next round will be in Torun, Poland, on 10th August.

Vintage Endurance Cup - Bikers Classic: the third round in Belgium Photo credit: DG Sport The 3rd round of the FIM Europe 4h Endurance Classic Cup in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, was raced on 06th-07th July. The event was held at the Bikers Classic weekend, one of the biggest gatherings of classic racing motorcycles in Europe, with more than 800 riders. 63 teams (151 rider) qualified for the race and a new class joined the race: Evo class with bikes from ‘83 to ’91, joined the competition together with the Cup’s 4 usual classes: Classic, Maxi, Classic, Formula, Open. Even if on the race day some rain felt down on Spa Circuit, the dry track allowed the riders to improve their lap times with a hard-fought battle for the victory in each class. European U21 Individual Speedway Championship

European U21 Individual Speedway Championship Qualifying Round 1 - Poland Polish Gdansk track hosted the European U21 Speedway Qualifying Round 1 with riders from 8 different countries. The meeting was run on a wet track following some rain in the first part of the day.  Top five final classification: Roman Lakhbaum, Russia Jakub Miśkowiak, Poland Daniel Bewley, Great Britain Mateusz Cierniak, Poland Michał Curzytek, Poland   Qualifying Round 2 - Hungary The Qualifying Round 2 was raced in Nagyhalasz, Hungary, in front of 2 thousand spectators with good weather conditions. The fight for the qualifications to the final was so tigh with several crashes. After 4 series, 8 riders had a chance to get a promotion. The best was Jan Kvech (14 points), second position for Petr Chlupac (12 points) and third for Artjom Trofimows (11 points). Favourite Nick Skorja had an unlucky race with a crash in heat 17.

European Pairs Speedway Championship SF2: France wins the title Photos by Roberto Tomba It was a thrilling race with a lot of close racing and several passes, especially in the first half of the meeting despite hot and difficult track conditions the one raced in Terenzano. Pre-meeting favourite France team lived the expectation with their two top guns Bellego and Berge who were always in control for the qualifying spot. Second and last qualifying place went to hosts Italy thanks to a brilliant display of local hero Michele Paco Castagna. He was one of the most entertaining riders of the meeting and scored 13 points not all form the start. He won also the decider with Finland’s Tero Aarnio for the delight of the partisan crowd. Last place on the rostrum went to a depleted Finland team which lost the services of skipper Timo Lahti during the 16th heat.

European U19 Speedway Pairs Cup: the final The final stage of the European U19 Speedway Pairs Cup was raced in Plzen, Czech Republic on 22nd June. The race took place with difficult conditions with heavy rain in the second half. Denmark won all its heats and lost no points. Second place for Latvia and third for Sweden, which due to technical problems and the fall of Philip Helström Bängs in the Semi-final did not participate to the final.

In the begging Danish team get the advantage, but later Latvian team riders ride better and better in a really exciting race. At the end Tim Sorensen gave the victory to Denmark after a brave attack when he overtook Davis Kurmis. The final event will be held on 20th June in Macon, France.

European Under 21 Team Speedway Championship SF1: the round in Liberec In sunny, hot conditions, the European U21 Team Speedway Championship Semi-Final 1 was held at Liberec (Czech Republic) in front of one thousand spectators. Riders and officials supported Environment's FIM program before the race. The dramatic race decided in last heat race.  The winner was Swedish team in front of Germany and Czech Republic. Winner were qualified to the final. The best rider of the race was Czech Jan Kvěch. The final will be held at Macon, France, on 20th July.
