EMX 65 and 85 NW Zone at Sverepec (Slovakia) – Day1

The fourth round of the European EMX 65cc and EMX 85cc North West is being held this weekend at Sverepec, in Slovakia. The organizer made a great job to have the track in order for this event, and all the riders enjoyed a perfect track for free practice and qualifying practice today. Qualifying race in EMX 85cc saw Liam Everts from Belgium take the holeshot and gain the pole position. Second place for Constantin Piller from Germany ahead of Radek Vetrovsky from Czech Republic. In the EMX 65cc class Vitezslav Marek from Czech Republic was the first rider at the finish line and got pole position for Sunday’s race ahead of Aaron Kowatsch and Bradley Mesters. EMX 65cc, EMX 85cc NW Zone and EMX Women at Dreetz (Germany) – Day 2

The third round of the EMX 65/65 European Championship of North West Zone and the second round of EMX Women were held in Germany on the sandy track of Dreetz. The weather on Sunday was cloudy with a temperature of 24 degrees. The track was very well prepared and all riders were looking forward to exciting races. EMX85 - In Race1, Dutch Kay Karssemakers was able to achieve the first place. In second place Dutch Kay de Wolf, ahead of Liam Everts from Belgium. In Race2 first place for Dutch Kay Karssemakers ahead of Kay De Wolf from The Netherlands and of Liam Everts from Belgium. EMX65 and EMX85 European Championships SE Zone at Sevlievo (Bulgaria) - Day1

On the Bulgarian track of Sevlievo, the practice and qualifying of the EMX 65 and 85 South East Zone European Motocross Championships have been held today in hot, dry condition. EMX 85 - Croatian rider Luka Kunic won Qualifying race in very hot weather. The championship leader confirmed his supremacy ahead of Marius Kanakis from Greece and of Romanian rider Marius Popovici. EMX 65 – The protagonists of the top positions in the general standings were fighting for the first three places in the qualifying race. Zoltan Ordog was the leader from start to finish. Behind him the battle for second and third place saw Israelian rider Ofir Tzemach finishing in second place ahead of Hungarian Adam Horvath. dig

It was cloudy with a temperature of around 12 degrees. The track was very well prepared and all riders were looking forward to exciting races. Motocross of European Nations at Gdansk, in Poland

The 2017 Motocross of European Nations saw 17 teams from 16 different countries come together to race in Gdansk, Poland this weekend. Today marked the second of the 2 day event. An Opening Ceremony started the morning with FIM Europe President Dr. Wolfgang Srb, Major of Gdansk Mr. Pawel Adamowicz and Mr. Michal Sikora, Vice President of the Polish Automobile and Motorcycling Federation PZM, all welcoming the participants. After a wet Saturday the weather made a change for the better Sunday to provide great racing and at the conclusion of which it was the French Federation celebrating as their team took the MXoEN winner’s trophy while the Women of the Netherlands celebrated their Women’s Motocross of European Nations victory. Motocross of European Nations 125cc/250cc In the first race of 125cc and 250cc Ukraine’s Volodymyr Tarasov led the first 2 laps but had France’s Mathys Boisrame and Germany’s Tom Koch behind him.

The yearly event of Motocross of the European Nations wil be held at Gdansk, in Poland, in the weekend of 2-3 September. Also the Women Motocross of European Nations will be held in the same weekend and in the entry lists there is also the name of the four-times world champion Kiara Fontanesi (in the photo). The first race in EMX 65 class was lead by Italians Ferruccio Zanchi and Alessandro Gaspari. Third place went to French rider Mathis Valin. The second holeshot went to Italian Alessandro Gaspari but Ferruccio Zanchi lead again 7,37 sec ahead of Alessandro Gaspari and 9.09 sec of Slovenian Jaka Peklaj. The overall winner of the event was Italian Ferruccio Zanchi in front of Alessandro Gaspari and of French Mathis Valin. Race1 in EMX 85 was lead by Spanish David Braceras. Yesterday’s  qualification winner  Eddie Jay Wade from Spain was out due the technical problems. Second and third place to Italian riders Andrea Rossi and Pietro Razzini. The second holeshot went to Spanish Raul Sanchez, who won the 2nd race as well. in front of his compatriot David Braceras. Third position for Italian Matteo Luigi Russi. The EMX250 championship is open to motorcycles between 175cc and 250cc for both 4 stroke and 2 stroke powered engines. This will make the European motocross most important championship extremely interesting with the introduction of equal capacities for the 2 strokes and 4 strokes. 2. The 2016 Women's Cup is now upgraded to an official European championship for 2017 consisting of 4 rounds in Denmark, Poland, Germany and Latvia. 3.
