Motocross European Championships: calendars updates   The FIM Europe would like to inform of some updates to the 2021 Motocross Championships calendars. Firstly, together with Infront Moto Racing, is pleased to confirm the venue for the MXGP of France on the 9th-10th of October, as Lacapelle-Marival. The circuit, located in the southwest of France is not entirely new to the FIM Motocross World Championship. Additionally, the round of Latvia in Kegums, originally scheduled on the 10th & 11th of July, will now move to the 7th & 8th of August, meanwhile the races of Sweden in Uddevalla will no longer take place in 2021 and are postponed to the 2022 season. EMX 65 / EMX 85 / EMX Women' European Championships: Lithuania and Turkey welcomed the MX riders This weekend the Lithuanian city of Siauliai hosted the third round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 North East zone and the first of Women’ championship, welcoming 63 riders from 13 different countries. Race1of EMX85 was ruled by Russian rider Semen Rybakov. He was faster than Latvian Janis Martins Reisulis, winner of the first round in Ukraine, and second in Lithuania. Third place for Gregor Kuusk from Estonia. In Race2 Polish rider Bartosz Jaworski leaded for a long time, but in the end won again Rybakov. Third on the podium Markuss Ozolins from Latvia. Rybakov won also the Overall in front of Reisulis and Jaworski. EMX65 Race1 saw an Estonian domination with the same winner of last week.  second round in Poland The second round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone took place in Polish city Gdansk. In the EMX85 first round ruler Janis Martins Reisulis from Latvia missed the race. Lithuanian rider Marius Adomaitis won race1 at the end of a hard-fought battle with Latvian young talent Markuss Ozolins (GasGas). Third position for Russian Semen Rybakov, who won the second heat although home rider Dawid Zaremba leaded for a long time. In race2 home rider Bartosz Jaworski finished second in front of Ozolins. Overall results: 1. Semen Rybakov; 2. Markuss Ozolins; 3. Bartosz Jaworski. In EMX65 class the Estonian Lucas Leok ruled both race1 and race2. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship:
 first round in the south west zone The opening race of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship SW Zone has been an Italian affair in both classes. The competition took place in Fernão Joanes, Portugal, at closed doors due to the pandemic restrictions. In the EMX 85 class 37 riders battled for the top, but the young Alessandro Gaspari has been amazing ruling both races with a huge gap. Second overall position for the Spaniard Salvador Perez, who tried is best to catch Gaspari. Third position for Carlos Prat. The EMX 65 was ruled by another Italian rider with an outstanding performance. Andrea Uccellini managed to win both races with a comfortable gap on Spanish riders Juan Izaguirre, second in both races, and Benigno Garcia, third. Visit our Motocross page

EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship: first round in the South East and North East zone  Romania and Ukraine hosted two successful first round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship. TCS Racing Park Circuit in Ciolpani (Romania) welcomed 17 riders from Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia and Turkey, ready to fight for the South East Zone. After ruling the Qualifying on Sunday, the EMX85 class was won by a long-shot with a double win by Hungarian rider Noel Zanocz, who is clearly the favourite of this class. Second place in both races for Bulgarian Vencislav Toshev: a great debut for him as he just jumped on an 85cc bike after competing last season on a 65cc bike. Motocross European Championships: calendar updates FIM Europe would like to inform of the updates to the provisional 2021 calendar of the Motocross Championships. Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the decision has been made to delay the start of the upcoming season and the first round will kick off in Great Britain in late June. The same race format as last year will be used during the upcoming season meaning that EMX will race on Saturday. The decision to run a one-day format was made due to the tight racing schedule in order to allow more recovery time for the riders and the team staff. In addition, the FIM-Europe Motocross of European Nations and Women's Motocross of European Nations scheduled on the 18th-19th of September in Riola Sardo, Italy, will now be as TBA, with more details to be announced at a later date. FIM-Europe Motocross of European Nations and Women's Motocross of European Nations: new date FIM Europe would like to inform about the new date of the FIM-Europe Motocross of European Nations and Women's Motocross of European Nations. The event is moved to 18th-19th September, remaining at the same venue of Riola Sardo, Sardinia. The MX of European Nation is aimed at the development of young riders to ride as a National team with each team consisting of 2 riders on 85cc bikes, 1 rider on a 125 bike and 1 rider on a 250cc bike. The Women's Motocross of European Nation is the only motocross championship in the world for Women to ride as a National team, each team consisting of 2 riders on 125cc 2 strokes and/or 250cc 4 stroke bikes.

Motocross European Championships: calendar updates FIM Europe would like to inform of the updates to the provisional 2021 calendar of the Motocross Championships. Due to the current situation worldwide in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, the racing calendar will see the Championships kickstart later than originally planned, with the first Grand Prix scheduled for the 23rd of May in Oss, in the Netherlands. Furthermore, the GP of Italy, GP of Portugal and the GP of Germany will be moved from April/May to October. The goal for the 2021 season is to finally welcome back spectators and to be able to do so in a safe and responsible way certain changes had to be made following the current evolution of the pandemic.

2021 Motocross European Championships Provisional Calendar The FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing are delighted to share the provisional calendar for the 2021 Motocross European Championships: EMX125, EMX250, EMX Open, EMX2T, EMX65 and EMX85. The 2021 season will begin later than usual; the plan is now to kick things off at the end of April, in order to give time for the pandemic to ease and for the teams and riders to carry out the testing and preparations that are needed for another intense season of racing. The aim is to keep the calendar with the usual format, though this will be adapted, if needed, to the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021 racing calendar will introduce three brand-new venues, for the GP of the Netherlands in Oss, along with the GP of Finland in Itti-KymiRing, already presented to feature in the 2020 calendar but then postponed to 2021,
