Start of the 2014 EMX 125cc in Arco di Trento (Italy)

The first round of the EMX 125cc Motocross European Championship was held today in the Italian track of Arco di Trento. Slicing through the crisp air of Arco di Trento, forty young riders had their two-stroke 125cc machines singing as they went for gold at round one of the European EMX125 championship. Following in the footsteps of Dutch motocross hero FIM MX2 World Champion Jeffrey Herlings, another Dutch prodigy Red Bull KTM Racing’s Davy Pootjes proved to be on another level here in Arco di Trento, dominating both races to take his first perfect score of the season. In race one yesterday evening, Red Bull KTM Racing’s Davy Pootjes took the holeshot and went on to lead every lap unchallenged.
