Vaclav Milik was the best in the third round of the Speedway Euro Championship, which took place at Hallstavik, in Sweden, in front of around 2.500 spectators. On the podium also Andzejs Lebedevs and Andreas Jonsson. Latvian Lebedevs still is the leader of the general standing. This morning at 10:00, riders took part to the training. Unfortunately practise showed that Adrian Miedziński could not take part to the competition due to his arm injury, so the reserve rider Pontus Aspgren replaced him. In heat 2, Mateusz Szczepaniak and Martin Smolinski performed a great show. The German rider attacked "Szczepan" on the inside, which allowed him to overtake his rival and win first race in SEC 2017. The second series was good for Martin Smolinski too. "Smolly", despite bad start, tried to overtake his rivals. Finally he did it at the last corner, when Krzysztof Kasprzak and Andrey Kudryashov rode outside.

The SF2 of the European U21 Team Speedway Championship was held at Abensberg, in Germany, in front of 650 spectators. The meeting was run in hot conditions but in good timing. The even Danish team was dominant from the very beginning and won. The fight for the second place lasted throughout the whole meeting between Czech and Germans. Eventually the German team led by Michael Haertel not only finished second but scored enough points to qualify for the European Final in Krosno, which will be held on August 19th. The fourth of five rounds of the Stocksport 300 European Cup and the second of five rounds of European Supermono Cup were held at Pannoniaring, Hungary. Stocksport 300 Cup (photo1) The qualifying practice was very smooth, and no crashes were registered. Polish rider Daniel Blin snatched the pole position, almost one second faster than Czech Schwarz. Race1 was the first of of the season without hard fight at the top, in fact the winner, Daniel Blin, had over 12 seconds of advantage of Vojtech Schwarz, who finished in second position in front of Peter Kacaba from Slovakia and Gyor Balint from Hungary. Ondrej Schwarz’s was the only of the race. In Race2 Blin won again, this time with 15 seconds advantage on Vojtech Schwarz. The SF1 of the European U21 Team Speedway Championship has been held at Daugavpils, in Latvia, in front of around 2.500 spectators. Consistent rain prevented the practice, which was postponed twice and at the end - at 15:30 - cancelled. At the same time the rain stopped and the Jury and all team managers decided that after some track preparation the meeting could start. The track of Zarnovica, in Slovakia, hosted the European Pairs Speedway Championship Semi Final 2. The meeting was run on a very well prepared track in sunny, hot weather and 2000 spectators followed with interest the event. The first place was decided in Run Off and the winner was Mateusz Szczepaniak (PZM) in front of Kudryashov (MFR) and Bogdanovs (LaMSF). The three top pairs qualified to the Final which will be held in Lonigo (Italy) on 30th September 2017.

Artem Laguta won the second SEC round in Güstrow, Germany, in front of Andzejs Lebedevs and Krzysztof Kasprzak. The first German fans went into the stadium only a moment after the gates opening, but campers popular in speedway world were staying near the stadium the day before. In the first series the wild card Kai Huckenbeck, who was third in Güstrow last year, won his first race. His second heat made a lot of noise on the stands too, because oatn the last corner he passed Andrey Kudryashov. Russian Artem Laguta won his first and second race with huge advantage, which pushed him forward in the general standings. This weekend the track of Güstrow, in Germany, is going to host the second final of the European Individual Speedway Championship. The first final was at the Motorena of Torun, in Poland, where Jarosław Hampel started as a wild card and won in front of Vaclav Milik and Andzejs Lebedevs. The final was held in bad weather conditions: the organizers had to cancel the practice due to rainfall. Luckly, the track was good enough to start the competition at 19:00. At last, fans watched an exciting show. The first heat showed how important Speedway European Championship really is for riders. Russian Grigorij Laguta, from the second gate, did not manage to control the pressure and broke the tape. Therefore, Paweł Przedpełski had a chance to start in his hometown in SEC. This weekend the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo is hosting the fourth round of the FIM CEV Repsol. In Moto2™, Eric Granado (Promoracing, photo1) earned a double victory and in the European Talent Cup Álex Toledo (Cradle of Champions, photo2) got on the top step of the podium for the first time. In Moto2™, Eric Granado (Promoracing) took a double win at a circuit where he always performs well and where he won last season. The first race of the Moto2™ European Championship was stopped on the first lap after a fall involving Xavier Cardelús (Team Stylobike) and Marc Luna (Team Wimu CNS), while Héctor Garzó (Team Wimu CNS) was heading the race. The track of Tayac, in France, hosted the final of the Sidecar European Championship, which caught the attention of around 1000 spectators. The meeting was held with the excellent work of the club staff that permitted a great Final. The weather was hot, in a sunny, partially cloudy day. All the heats were interesting and in the whole day there were two crashes with no serious injuries for the riders and their passengers. William  Matthijssen - Sandra Mollema from Netherlands are the European Sidecar Champions for second time in a row. The victory was not very easy for the Dutch team because during the Final A they had a close fight with the German Team of Markus Brandhofer and Tim Scheunemann, who finished in the second position.
