EMX 250 European Championship Elzinga secures the overall win at the round of Lombardia The EMX 250 European Championship riders have completed the opening round of the series in Lombardia, with Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Rick Elzinga victorious. The Dutchman leaves Italy with the red plate, ahead of Fantic Factory Team Maddii duo of Cornelius Toendel and Haakon Osterhagen. In EMX250 race one, it was Mike Gwerder of WZ Racing Team who was flying out of the gate and led the way. Behind him was David Braceras from Team VRT KTM Veritise, Raf Meuwissen of Raf’s Motorsports, Marcel Stauffer of Sturm STC Racing Team and Andrea Bonacorsi from Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing. Stauffer then crashed out of fourth which allowed Bonacorsi and Rick Elzinga of Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing through, but Bonacorsi’s charge to the front did not last long as a battle with Cornelius Toendel of Fantic Factory Team

EMX 125 and EMX Open European Championship Valk and Sandner top the EMX podium in Great Britain The opening rounds of the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing and EMX Open categories have concluded with overall victories from Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk and Michael Sandner of Raths Motorsports. The European Championship riders were treated to two days of perfect conditions which made for some great racing that featured plenty of excitement and close battles. In Saturday’s EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing heat it was Karlis Alberts Reisulis of Yamaha Europe EMX125 MJC who grabbed the holeshot from Julius Mikula, Alexis Fueri of Fantic Factory Team Maddii and Elias Escandell of RFME GASGAS MX Junior Team. A couple of corners later the running order was a little different with K. Reisulis still in the lead as Brit Joe Brookes moved into third and Yamaha Europe EMX125 MJC’s Ivano Van Erp into fourth. EMX250 and EMX Open European Championships Cancellation of the MXGP of MFR The FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing, announces that due to the current situation it’s not possible to hold the MXGP of MFR set to take place on 30th April - 1st May in Orlyonok. Therefor the Russian rounds of the EMX250 and EMX Open European Championships are cancelled. The local Organizer has been informed. EMX Open and 125 European Championship: the first round in Great Britain postponed to next weekend Infront Moto Racing and FIM Europe regret to inform that due to the severe weather conditions on-site in Matterley Basin, as a result of storm Eunice, the first round of the EMX Open and EMX 125 European Championship will be postponed to next weekend. Despite numerous meetings with the Strategic Planning Group from Hampshire, made up of Winchester County Council, Police and Environmental Health, a government warning was issued due to the strong wind gusts experienced yesterday and forecasted to continue throughout the weekend. The main concern of FIM Europe and all involved parties is health and safety of anyone attending the event be them public, riders, teams, workers and members of the industry. Motocross European Championships: 2022 calendars update The FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing, is delighted to share the updated calendar for the 2022 Motocross European Championships. The main changes include the MXGP of Lombardia taking place on the 5/6 March, as well as the MXGP of Portugal which will make an appearance on the racing calendar on the 2/3 April, after missing a GP in the last two years. As originally planned, the series will kick-off at the Matterley Basin for MXGP of Great Britain on 20 February. Supercross European Championships Calendars 2022 The FIM Europe, together with the Motocross & Snowcross Commission, is delighted to share the 2022 calendar of the Supercross European Championship. Motocross European Championships: provisional calendars The FIM Europe, together with Infront Moto Racing, is delighted to share the provisional calendars for the 2022 season of the Motocross European Championships.   The EMX125 and EMX OPEN will kick off in Matterley Basin, Great Britain, on the 19th/20th of February, while the EMX250 in The Netherlands. In the Czech Republic there will be the EMX 2T and the EMX65 and EMX85 finals. For the TBA events that are yet to be announced, Infront Moto Racing is negotiating with various European organizers to offer some more exciting venues! As already announced the Motocross of European Nations will take place in Krasnodar in 2022 on the 2nd of October while the YZ bLU cRU Superfinale will be held on the 18th of September in 2022 and the venue will be announced shortly. EMX250 and EMX125 European Championship: Lapucci and Lata crowned champions on home soil It was a big day for Italian riders Nicholas Lapucci of Fantic Factory Team Maddi and Valerio Lata of MRT Racing Team KTM, as the pair secured the crown in the EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing Championships. The newly crowned champions were able to revel in their success at the chequered flag of their first races, as Lapucci had enough of an advantage over his closest rival Kevin Horgmo of SM Action Racing Team YUASA Battery, despite the Norwegian winning the first EMX250 race, while Lata’s closest rival Bobby Bruceof ASA United GasGas Racing was forced out of the running due to a broken chain. EMX 2T and EMX250 European Championship: Spies secures EMX2T title and Lapucci wins in EMX250 Round of Lombardia in Mantova saw the penultimate and final rounds of the EMX250 and the EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing series, as a new European Champion was crowned. Fantic Factory Team Maddii had plenty to celebrate as Maximilian Spies secured his first European title in the EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing after a 1-3 result, as well as an overall victory from their second two-stroke rider Federico Tuani who went on to win the second race. Meanwhile in EMX250 their rider Nicholas Lapucci had the perfect day as he extended his championship lead with two race wins for his fourth overall win of the season.
