European Motoball in France (Day 3)

The European Motoball Games are going on in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In Day3 four matches were held: Germany-Ukraine, Belarus-The Netherlands, Russia-Ukraine and France-Belarus. 7th Game 15:00 - Germany – Ukraine 10:0 Finally the Ukraine Team arrived in Valreas (they had a delay due to Visa issues and their first race – expected on Friday - was rescheduled on Sunday). Ukraine played the first match against Germany and they did well in the first Quarter. After that Germany started to score and the game ended with a clear 10:0 for Germany. European Motoball in France (Day 2)

The European Motoball Games are going on in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In Day 2 three matches were held Russia-Belarus, Germany-Belarus and France-Germany. The match between The Netherlands and Ukraine was postponed to Sunday July 30th at 11 am since some players of the Ukraine team had problems with the Visa and did not arrive in time. “I want to thank the Dutch team for their understanding and cooperation”, commented Thomas Staudt, Jury President of the European Motoball Championship 2017 and vice-president of the FIM Europe Motoball Commission. “Since the match was moved we decided to reschedule the time of the match between Germany and Belarus to 17:30”. European Motoball in France (Day 1)

The European Motoball games started in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In the first day, the Referee Meeting was held at 10:00 in Cameret. Pascale Reschko Jacquot, Chairwoman of FIM Europe Motoball Commission and André Cast (Clerk of the Course) welcomed the 6 participating Nations: Belarus, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Russia and Ukraine. André Cast made a detailed presentation of the rules which changed from last year. All photos © Ray 1st Game 15:00 - Russia – The Netherlands 11:0 Russia was showing its strength and the Netherlands tried to fight back. After the 1st Quarter the score was 2:0 and at the half time already 5:0. Finally the Russian Team scored 6 times more and won clearly. European Moto2 and European Talent Cup at Estoril (Portugal)

The Circuito do Estoril in Portugal was the scene of the European Moto2 and European Talent Cup at Estoril, in Portugal. In Moto2™, Eric Granado (Promoracing, photo1) once again achieved a double, the second in a row and his fourth win of the season. The clear leader of the category took victory after pulling away with Ricky Cardús (Team Stylobike), Steven Odendaal (NTS Sportscode T Pro) and Lukas Tulovic (Forward Junior Team). Behind the leading riders, Héctor Garzó (Team Wimu CNS) was forced to fight back after starting from seventh place on the grid. Ricky Cardús (Team Stylobike) bore the weight of the race while poleman Tulovic gradually lost touch enabling Héctor Garzó (Team Wimu CNS) to pick him up with two laps remaining. The European Enduro Championship is ready to kick off

The new season of the Enduro European Championship is ready to kick off in two weeks, on 29/30 of April in Portugal. In Gouveia a challenging area is waiting for the riders, right at the border of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The local motoclub is busy in preparing everything: the special cross-test and enduro-test are all within walking distance from the paddock. FIM Europe is pleased to announce that the 4th round of the EMX65/85 in the North West Europe zone has now been FIM Europe is pleased to announce that the 4th round of the EMX65/85 in the North West Europe zone has now been moved to Mill (The Netherlands) from the original venue at Den Dungen (The Netherlands). Mill is in the province of North Brabant, south of the city of Nijmegen and close to the original venue of Den Dungen. The original date of the 3/4 June remains the same. The Chairman of the FIM Europe Motocross and Snowcross Commission, Mr Eddie Herd, expresses his thanks to the KNMV and the Mill club for their cooperation. The city of Budel, in the Netherlands, is hosting the European Motoball Championship. Yesterday, the Day 5 of the series was held and five matches were played. Ukraine-Belarus 3-7 Ukraine managed to do a good game, but did not get any positive results. Belarus took their points and won the game by 3-7. Ukraine still has no points in this championship and stands in the last place, behind Lithuania by goal difference. France-Lithuania 3-1 Both teams started the game slowly and carefully, because both had two matches to face in the same day. France scored in the second quarter, but Lithuania quickly managed to score their first goal in this championship and at half-time the result was 1-1. But in the second half of the game France scored two goals and Lithuania was not able to reply.

The XXVIII Motoball-ECS in Neuville de Poitou (France) ended today with the victory of the German team, which managed to stop Russian dominance in the last 7 editions. The final was held in front of a large crowd between Germany and Russia.
