EMX 65 and 85 North East Zone and Open at Olsztyn (Poland)

The beautiful land of Warmia hosted the European Motocross Championship. On Saturday, under a clear blue sky, 91 riders from 3 classes (the most numerous was EMX65 and was divided into two groups), took part to qualifications. The winners of the qualifying races are as follows:•    EMX65 Group A – Eduards Bidzans (LAT)•    EMX65 Group B – Kirill Vorobyew (RUS)•    EMX85 – Svyatoslav Pronenko (RUS)•    EMX OPEN – Dmytro Asmanov (UKR) The weather conditions on Sunday were difficult. In the morning it was very sunny, with high temperature. In the early afternoon rainclouds gathered, it was windy luckly only after the races were over, heavy rain started. Class EMX65The riders to catch the podium Race1 were Eduards Bidzans (LAT), Kirill Vorobyew (RUS) and Janis Kubulins (LAT). Hill Climb Road Racing European Championship at Carpasio (Italy)

Italian Francesco Curinga on Honda was the fastest rider this weekend at the third round of the European Road Racing Hill Climb Championship at Carpasio, 25 kilometres from Sanremo. The event was also valid for the Italian Hill Climb Championship. It was a sunny day and 132 riders were at the start. The event was well organised by Moto Club Corse Badalucco and saw the participation of around 850 spectators.In 250 GP Marco Queirolo won both races and so did Francesco Curinga in Supersport, who in race2 did the fastest time in 1.26,20.Also in the other classes the same rider won both races: Stefano Bonetti in Superbike and Luca Trivella in Supermoto.

European Women and Youth Trial at Krzeszowice (Poland) – Day 1

German rider Theresa Baeuml (Beta) and Brit Jack Peace (Gas Gas, in the photo of Phototrial.it) topped the rostrums in the 2nd round of the FIM Europe Youth and Women Trial championship held in Miekinia, 4 kilometres from Krzerzowice, in Poland. Having rained early in the morning all the 12 sections were found quite tricky by all the riders in the first of the two loops the competition consisted of. Not only riders for European championships populated this event. Another national competition was scheduled together with the Continental event in order to give the local riders the chance to ride aside of more blazoned pilots. The loop was quite short, about 3 kilometres and all the sections were easily reachable by spectators. In the Women class Theresa Baeuml gained a significant lead at once: her score of 14 marks at half competition against the 37 points made by Sara Trentini

FIM Europe Congress at Kavala (Greece) Preview

Greece is going to host the 2016 FIM Europe Congress and Road Safety Conference, which will be held from Friday June 30th to Saturday July 2nd in Kavala, at the Lucy Hotel (in the photo). The meeting is to host FIM-Europe delegates from European Federations to discuss and approve decisions regarding FIM Europe management and 360° issues in the field of Motorcycling: from Sport to Safety, to Touring. The program of the Congress foresees the meeting of the Sporting Council and of the Non-Sporting Council on Thursday, of the Management Council and of the Secretaries General on Friday, and again the Sporting and Non-Sporting Council meeting on Saturday, followed by the Management Council and by the General Assembly, with the Official Dinner to conclude the Congress. In the upcoming weekend, the FIM Europe Youth and Women Trial championship is back for the 2nd and 3rd round, scheduled at Miekinia, 4 km from Krzerzowice, Poland. After two years from the last successfully organization, here is again the local club on its duty to fit 12 sections in the small area completely close to traffic road. In not more than 10 square kilometres the very young riders and the best females riders involved in this sport will do their best to catch two important titles that could open doors to whom of them will choice Trial as professional sport. EMX 65, 85 South East Zone and Open at Globare (Serbia) – Day 2

The podium of EMX65, with FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb.  It was another extremely hot day with high humidity on the racetrack of Globare, in Serbia, for Day2 of the EMX 65 and 85 and Open Championships. The organizers prepared a beautiful opening ceremony with all riders attending. FIM Europe President  Dr. Wolfgang Srb welcomed riders and spectators together with the Major of Krusevac. EMX 65Romanian female rider Aida Cojanu managed to do the holeshot in Race1 in EMX 65 class. But after half lap she was overtaken by Marius Popovici who won the first heat. Second position for Bence Pergel in front of Noel Zanocz. The championship leader Matija Sterpin finished fourth. Race2 finished with the same podium as Race1, with Marius Popovici winning in front of Bence Pergel and Noel Zanocs. So the overall winner was Marius Popovici, with Bence Pergel in second position and Noel Zanocz in third.The event

Matterley Basin is a track that aspiring racers dream of riding.
