EMX 65, 85 South East Zone and Open at Globare (Serbia) – Day 2

 It was another extremely hot day with high humidity on the racetrack of Globare, in Serbia, for Day2 of the EMX 65 and 85 and Open Championships. The organizers prepared a beautiful opening ceremony with all riders attending. FIM Europe President  Dr. Wolfgang Srb welcomed riders and spectators together with the Major of Krusevac.

Romanian female rider Aida Cojanu managed to do the holeshot in Race1 in EMX 65 class. But after half lap she was overtaken by Marius Popovici who won the first heat. Second position for Bence Pergel in front of Noel Zanocz. The championship leader Matija Sterpin finished fourth.
Race2 finished with the same podium as Race1, with Marius Popovici winning in front of Bence Pergel and Noel Zanocs.
So the overall winner was Marius Popovici, with Bence Pergel in second position and Noel Zanocz in third.
The event in Globare was the last race in class EMX 65 in South East Zone, so the winner is Marius Popovici in front of Matija Sterpin, both with same points but Popovici with more wins. On the podium also the female rider Aida Cojanu.

In Race1 the fastest rider in qualifying did not disappoint the expectations and lead the race from the start to the end: it was Adam Kovacs to win in front of Jakob Kristof and Nikola Hranic.
In Race2 after the holeshot of Adam Kovacs, the leader of the South East Zone European series Nikola Hranic did not make negative surprises and won the second heat in front of Hungarian riders Adam Kovacs and Jakob Kristof, who completed the podium.
The overall winner was Adam Kovacs, second Nikola Hranic and third Jakob Kristof.
The event in Globare was the last race in class EMX 85 in South East Zone. So, the winner is Croatian Nikola Hranic, in front of Antonios Sagmalis from Greece and Kristian Ivanov from Bulgaria.

In Race1 The Czech duo of Michek and Bartos did not leave any chances to the other riders. Martin Michek won in front of Petr Bartos and of Ukrainian rider Dmytro Asmanov who fought with Croatian Matija Kelava.
In Race2 Michek did the holeshot and maintained the first position until the finish line. Petr Bartos finished the race in second position in front of Macedonian rider Hristian Ilioski.
The overall winner is Martin Michek, with Petr Bartos in second position and Dymitro Asmanov in third.
