European U21 Team Speedway Championship: Poland gets the title! The city of Lodz, Poland, hosted the one-day event of the European U21 Team Speedway Championship. Despite the early morning rain, the conditions for racing were very good and the young riders presented great skills. The team Poland ruled from the beginning and only Danish riders were able to score 3:3 result in the last heat, which was the best one of the day. These points resulted in a tie between Denmark and Latvia in the classification. In the race-off Mads Hansen, who lost the start, kept chasing Olegs MIhailovs and passed him before the finish to win silver medals for Denmark. Final classification: 1. Poland 2. Denmark 3. Latvia

European 125cc Youth Track Racing Cup: Adam Bednář victorious in the Czech Republic Single event for the European 125cc Youth Track Racing Cup in Plezen, Czech Republic. The meeting was raced on a wet track due to the heavy rain of the night but thanks to the excellent work of the club there were no setbacks. Great performance for the Czech Adam Bednář, who ruled the event conquering the European title. Second position for the Polish Maksymilian Pawelczak and third for Vojtech Šachl: the Czech was the bes tone, but due to a mistake in the final heat he finished third. Final classification: 1. European U19 Individual Speedway Cup: Jan Kvech wins the final in Slovakia The final was raced on 16th August in Zarnovica, Slovakia in heavy rain condition. At the end of a hard-fought race, the Czech Jan Kvech won ahead of Marcus Birkemose, who crashed in the last corner of the last lap, and Daniel Klima, third. European U19 Individual Speedway Cup: Ernests Matjusonoks wins the qualifying round The qualifying round of the European U19 Individual Speedway Cup was raced on 14th August in Pardubice, Czech Republic. The meeting was raced on a wet track, but despite the bad weather conditions there were no problems thanks to the excellent work of the club staff. The six best speedway riders were promoted to the finals, scheduled on 16th August in Slovakia. European 85cc Youth Speedway Racing Cup: Danish Mikkel Andersen is the new champion The one-shot event of the European 85cc Youth Speedway Racing Cup was raced on 08th August in Gdansk, Poland. All the young riders showed great skills even the heat. In the morning, before the practice, PZM organised the eco meeting “One hour for nature”: all the riders wrote “I care about the environment” in their language. In very hot weather conditions the Danish Mikkel Andersen claimed his victory after a brave attack on the first bend of the 20th heat. Second position for the Danish Villads Luka Nagel Christiansen and third for Hannah Grunwald, who was the only girl present at the event. Final classification: 1. Mikkel Andersen – Denmark 2. European Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship: the season started in the Czech Republic After the emergency due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the first round of the European Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship took place on Saturday in Divisov, Czech Republic, with good weather conditions and strong heat. Juniors from eight different countries joined the competition: only Latvia did not take part to the race as travelling is still not permitted. Jan Kvěch won the race ahead Marko Lewishyn, second, and Wiktor Lampart, third. The nine best riders of the race advanced to the final race in Nagyhalasz, Hungary, that will take place on 12th September 12: three riders from the Czech Republic, two from Germany and Ukraine, one from Poland and England. Speedway European Championship: Robert Lambert conquers the title Despite the Coronavirus outbreak and the resulting cancelled and postponed race, the Speedway European Championship took place in Poland with 5 round thanks to a precise organization of One Sport. The last one was raced on 29th July in Torun in presence of the FIM Europe President Mr Martin De Graaff. The meeting was raced in good weather condition despite the numerous clouds. At the end of a thrilling fight with Leon Madsen, ruler in round 1, 2 and 4, Robert Lambert got the title thanks to an outstanding victory in front of the Danish rider. Third in Torun the Finnish Timo Lahti. Speedway European Championship: Lambert wins in Gniezno Round 4 of the Speedway European Championship was raced yesterday in Gniezno, Poland. Great race with a lot of emotions: in good weather conditions Robert Lambert won ahead local hero Timo Lahti and Grigorij Laguta. The next round will be on 29th July in Torun, Poland. Speedway European Championship: Leon Madsen keeps on ruling Round 3 of the Speedway European Championship was raced in Rybnik, Poland. Open race for the public and the track racing lovers. After the victory in the second round, rider Leon Madsen claimed his victory again after a fantastic start in the final. Second place for Grigorij Laguta and third for Bartosz Zmarzlik, wild card. Speedway European Championship: the second round in Bydgoszcz The second round of the Speedway European Championship was raced yesterday in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The race took place in good weather conditions with a little rain before the start. Rider Leon Madsen from Denmark claimed his victory after a fantastic start. Behind, Mikkel Michelsen finished second after an amazing comeback from the fourth position. Third step on the podium for the Russian Gregorij Laguta. The next round will be on 15th July in Gniezno, Poland.
