European Individual Speedway U21 Semi-Final 1 in Debrecen (Hungary)

The circuit of Debrecen, in Hungary, hosted the Semi-Final 1 of the Individual Speedway Under 21 European Championship. Despite a very hot and sunny day, the Debrecen Speedway SE club worked hard to produce a very fast race track that gave the spectators an excellent racing day. As the meeting progressed, the track conditions improved, and it was difficult to forecast who would be the eventual winner. With nine qualifying places (+ one reserve) being available to progress into the European Final at Silkeborg (Denmark), the winner was Andzejs Lebedevs. The second place went to Maksym Drabik from the Poland, while third place went to Polish rider Bartosz Smektala. Everyone in the Track Racing world will now be focusing on the European Final which is being staged at  29.08.2015, in what will be an extremely hard race meeting prior to the crowning of the Individual Speedway U 21 European Champion

European Quadcross Championship in Kivioli (Estonia)

In the weekend of 1st and 2nd of August the fifth round ot the European Quad Motocross Championship was held in Kiviõli (Estonia) and organised by SA Kiviõli Seiklusturismi Keskus. Saturday the weather forecast promised sunny and dry day, but instead of it was heavy rain. 1st and 2nd Free Practice were held in scheduled time, and the Qualifying Practice went on with an half hour delay. The fastest were Edgars Mengels (LAT), Mike van Grinsven (NED) and Priit Järvloo (EST). Sunday morning, in sunny weather, also the Warm Up confirmed that Edgars Mengels and Mike van Grindsven still were the fastest riders. In the first race Mike van Grinsven dominated from the start, and was followed by Edgars Mengels. When Grinsven got technical problems, Mengels took the lead on the 10th lap. He controlled the last 8 laps up to the victory with a gap of 32 seconds on

EMX 125, 250 and 300 Championships in Lommel (Belgium)

  LOMMEL (Belgium), August 2015 - When the going gets tough, the tough gets going! And that was the theme of the weekend for the European Championships EMX250, EMX125 and EMX300. Proving to be the strongest sand rider in the EMX250 class this year HF Kawasaki’s Lars Van Berkel went 2 - 1 to stand top of the box here at the eighth round of the championship. Meanwhile Cyril Genot took claim of the seventh EMX125 round while GL12 Yamaha Racing’s Brad Anderson took his fourth consecutive race win and the overall once again in the EMX300.EMX250Conditions for race one were already fierce and challenging which ended up working in favor of Bodo Schmidt Motorsport’s Thomas Kjer Olsen in the opening moto as he blitzed past the early season red plate holder Wilvo Forkrent KTM’s Adam Sterry and sand specialist HF Racing’s Lars Van Berkel for his first race win

EMX 150 Championship in Lommel (Belgium)

The circuit of Lommel, in Belgium, hosted this weekend a new round of EMX 150. Jack Bintcliffe put in an impressive performance that saw the young Brit dominate the first race in the deep sand of Lommel, moving him closer to the championship lead.At the gate drop Bintcliffe got a great start that saw him take the holeshot and begin to pull away from the rest of the riders. Throughout the duration of the race he was able to build and maintain a gap that, at the end of race, was over twenty seconds to the second placed rider Emil Weckman, who currently leads the championship.Weckman struggled to begin with and lost places at the start but was able to find his pace and move back up to fourth early on. European Mini Road Racing in Pomposa (Italy) - Day 3

European Mini Road Racing Championship, promoted by FIM Europe and for this year organized in two calendar events, have the best Italian return. During this weekend at Pomposa Circuit, the opening round organized by FMI, young Italian motorcycling talents monopolized the Minimoto scene and won all scheduled races. Alex Venturini (Junior A), Emiliano Ercolani (Junior B) and Michael Carbonera (Senior Open 50) shone at Race 3, while Czech rider Ondrej Vostatek shone in NSF100. European Minimoto Nine races, nine victories and six podiums for Italian riders in Junior A, Junior B and Senior Open 50 classes. The best Italian talents monopolized the scene in every race at Pomposa Circuit, confirmeing with remarkable results the potential of a briliant future. European Hillclimb Cup in Kivioli (Estonia)

In the photo above, Urmas Põldma, winner of the Unlimited class. Saturday evening the European Hillclimb Cup was held in Kivioli (Estonia). “This was the  first time that a Hillclimb was on the FIM-Europe calendar as an official Cup-race”, stated Martin de Graaff, FIM Europe first Vice-President. Ivar Gynnild (member of the FIM-Europe MX Commission) said to be happy with the status of this event and the 21 participants. He took the initiative for this event, and in his opinion next year the second event somewhere in Europe should be also on the official calendar. In EHC there are two classes: Modified (engine size from 0 to 700 ccm) and Unlimited (engine size from 700 to 2000 ccm). European Mini Road Racing in Pomposa (Italy) - Day 2

European Mini Road Racing Championship promoted by FIM Europe this year is focused on two calendar events. After six years of absence it comes back in Italy, where the top young riders of Italian motorcycling were the great protagonists of races opening day at 'Circuito di Pomposa'. In the three classes of Mini Moto, Alex Venturini (Junior A), Andrea Natali (Junior B) and Michael Carbonera (Senior Open 50) gained the victory during first two of three races of the weekend, sealing a very "Italian Saturday". Romenian rider Andrei Filimon stood out into MiniGP 50cc, while German rider Aaron Schafer stood out beween NSF100 with two commendable goals. European Mini Road Racing in Pomposa (Italy) - Day 1

With the first free practice and qualifying sessions, in Pomposa Circuit (Italy),  the weekend of European Mini Road Racing Championship officially started, with the Italian Motorcycling Federation in the role organizer of the first round. Six years after the event which took place in 2009 in Ottobiano, the European Mini Road Racing Championship has made its return to Italy. Tomorrow the first two races of each class will be held, of the three scheduled during the weekend. Today's activity has seen the young Italian talents seizing all the provisional pole positions in the European Minimoto Championship thanks to Luca Lunetta (Junior A), Andrea Natali (Junior B) and the European champion Michael Carbonera (Senior Open 50), while Romanian Andrei Filimon and German Aaron Schafer stood out positively in the MiniGP 50cc and in the NSF100.

EMX 150 and 300 cc Championships in Loket (Czech Republic) - Day 2

  LOKET (Czech Republic), 26 July 2015 - Emil Weckman’s championship lead was reduced to just three points after Albin Larsen powered through to take the race two victory, in what proved to be one of the most exciting races of the season. While Weckman was slow out of the gate, Jack Bintcliffe had a great start which saw him take the lead in the first lap. The British rider was unable to keep hold of this position and lost out early on to Larsen and Tim Edberg, who showed that he was still in good racing form after a small crash in yesterday’s race.Edberg started to pull away from the field but Larsen was able to keep with the fellow Swede.
