Saturday evening the European Hillclimb Cup was held in Kivioli (Estonia). “This was the  first time that a Hillclimb was on the FIM-Europe calendar as an official Cup-race”, stated Martin de Graaff, FIM Europe first Vice-President.

Ivar Gynnild (member of the FIM-Europe MX Commission) said to be happy with the status of this event and the 21 participants. He took the initiative for this event, and in his opinion next year the second event somewhere in Europe should be also on the official calendar. In EHC there are two classes: Modified (engine size from 0 to 700 ccm) and Unlimited (engine size from 700 to 2000 ccm).
All riders make 4 runs and the winner is the rider with the shortest time up to the finish line (if they reach it). martin de graaff ivar gynnild low
