EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone and EMX Women's European Championship: Cardineau, Russi and Van Der Vlist the winner The city of Vesoul, France, hosted on 04th-05th May a thrilling cross weekend. During the pre-qualifications it started raining and it became colder: in the afternoon started snowing and it was necessary to stop racing because of too much water on the track. On EMX 65 the French Cardineau Felix was first in front of the Spanish Perez Salvador and another French rider Pigois Basile. In EMX 85 two Italians on top: Lata Valerio in front of Russi Matteo. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone and EMX Open European Championship: round 1 in Ukraine City of Kovel, Ukraine, hosted the first round of the Motocross European Chamionship NW zone with good weather on Saturday, but rain and cold on Sunday. Race 1 EMX 65 class saw a nice battle between winner of this race Marius Adomaitis from Lithuania and second Ricards Alens Galcins from Latvia. Third position for the Estonian Gregor Kuusk. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone and EMX Women's European Championship: Italian round in Gazzane di Preseglie The Galaello track presented as quite demanding for the beginning of the free practices on Saturday morning, due to the heavy rain of the previous days. Thanks to the postponement to the early afternoon and the sunny and windy day both free and qualifying practices could be carried out without particular problems. The EMX 85 qualifying practices were won by Edgar Canet from Spain (group B) and Simone Pavan from Italy (group A), whereas the EMX 65 were won by Filippo Mantovani from Italy (Group B) and Joel Canadas Gonzales from Spain (group A). EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South East zone and EMX Open European Championship: it’s time for Bulgaria Troyan, Bulgaria, hosted the second round of SE Zone EMX65/85 and first round of EMX OPEN starts. EMX 85 Q-Race Tecsi Laslo was fastest on the start, followed by Marius Popovici, Hristan Georgiev and Luka Kunic. Soon Tecsi had a solitary race until the finish line. Luka Kunic made pressure to Marious Popovici fihting for the third place in front Hristan Georgiev, who managed to make a gap and getting the second position. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North West zone The very demanding sandtrack of Lommel, Belgium, host the second round of EMX 65 and 85 European Championship North West zone. Under a blue sky and 25 degrees temperature both on Saturday and on Sunday, the Dutch Ivano Van Erp in 85 and Tchech Vitezslav Marek took the win in qualifying. In EMX65 class Lotte Van Drunen from the Netherlands passed Marek Vitezslav from Czech Republik after lead the first heat and more than half of the second one. EMX 125 2T and EMX 250 European Championship: Forato and Guadagnini dominate duo in Trentino The second rounds of the 2019 EMX250 and EMX125 presented by FMF Racing Championships took place this weekend at the Trentino circuit where Italy’s own Alberto Forato and Mattia Guadagnini from Maddii Racing Husqvarna took the respective wins. The round of Trentino is always one of the best attended by fans and riders due to not only Italy’s passion for motocross but also the incredible venue, its surroundings, and unique circuit. This weekend the two FIM Europe Championships had a combined list of 193 entries. EMX250 Race 1 on Saturday started in dramatic fashion as riders piled up in both the first and second turn. Creymert Racing’s Kevin Horgmo came away unscathed and held the lead early but Honda Redmoto Assomotor’s Stephen Rubini moved to the premiere position in the second lap. Due to the bad weather conditions, Saturday’s qualifying was cancelled, but fortunately on Sunday the weather was perfect for all the races. EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing European Championship: Mattia Guadagnini starts on top in the Netherlands In addition to the World Championship classes of MXGP, MX2, and WMX this weekend the 125cc two-stroke of EMX125 presented by FMF Racing ripped around the Dutch circuit of Valkenswaard. Spring weather combined with the ring and premix of two strokes invoked some of the most unique racing all weekend. The FIM Europe Championship is one of the most competitive and popular in the world hosting 100 entries through two days of racing.
