EMX 125 European Championship 2T and EMX 2T European Championship: Kras and Guadagnini top two-stroke European racing in Lombardia The rippers of FIM Europe made two stroke music for the thousands of motocross fans present in Mantova this weekend. Through two days of racing the conditions can only be definable as polar opposite with the lone ambiguous adjective being challenging. The younger and smaller cc two stroke of EMX 125 Presented by FMF Racing also dealt with the same challenging conditions as even the MXGP and MX2 riders. In a class that is one of the most difficult to be consistent in even with perfect conditions Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna’s Mattia Guadagnini did the seemingly impossible with double race wins. During the pre-qualifications it started raining and it became colder: in the afternoon started snowing and it was necessary to stop racing because of too much water on the track. On EMX 65 the French Cardineau Felix was first in front of the Spanish Perez Salvador and another French rider Pigois Basile. In EMX 85 two Italians on top: Lata Valerio in front of Russi Matteo. The women’s class was led by the experienced Stephanie Laier in front of the Danish Dam Line and Dutch Valk Lynn. On Sunday morning the track was very wet and muddy. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone and EMX Open European Championship: round 1 in Ukraine City of Kovel, Ukraine, hosted the first round of the Motocross European Chamionship NW zone with good weather on Saturday, but rain and cold on Sunday. Race 1 EMX 65 class saw a nice battle between winner of this race Marius Adomaitis from Lithuania and second Ricards Alens Galcins from Latvia. Third position for the Estonian Gregor Kuusk. In Race 1 EMX 85 class ruled the Latvian young talent Edvards Bidzans. Second was another latvian rider Kirils Maslovs and third Aleh Makhnou from Belarusia. Martin Michek from Czech Republic won the EMX Open class in front of home rider Roman Morozov and another Czech Peter Michalec. Race 2 were more difficult due to the heavy rain. Thanks to the postponement to the early afternoon and the sunny and windy day both free and qualifying practices could be carried out without particular problems. EMX 85 Q-Race Tecsi Laslo was fastest on the start, followed by Marius Popovici, Hristan Georgiev and Luka Kunic. Soon Tecsi had a solitary race until the finish line. Under a blue sky and 25 degrees temperature both on Saturday and on Sunday, the Dutch Ivano Van Erp in 85 and Tchech Vitezslav Marek took the win in qualifying. In EMX65 class Lotte Van Drunen from the Netherlands passed Marek Vitezslav from Czech Republik after lead the first heat and more than half of the second one. EMX 125 2T and EMX 250 European Championship: Forato and Guadagnini dominate duo in Trentino The second rounds of the 2019 EMX250 and EMX125 presented by FMF Racing Championships took place this weekend at the Trentino circuit where Italy’s own Alberto Forato and Mattia Guadagnini from Maddii Racing Husqvarna took the respective wins. The round of Trentino is always one of the best attended by fans and riders due to not only Italy’s passion for motocross but also the incredible venue, its surroundings, and unique circuit. This weekend the two FIM Europe Championships had a combined list of 193 entries. EMX250 Race 1 on Saturday started in dramatic fashion as riders piled up in both the first and second turn. Creymert Racing’s Kevin Horgmo came away unscathed and held the lead early but Honda Redmoto Assomotor’s Stephen Rubini moved to the premiere position in the second lap. EMX 65 and EMX 85 European Championship: Coenen and Marek leader at the end of round 1 On Sunday 7th April was raced the round of the EMX 65 and EMX85 Europen Championship in Velke Uherce, Slovakia. Due to the bad weather conditions, Saturday’s qualifying was cancelled, but fortunately on Sunday the weather was perfect for all the races. EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing European Championship: Mattia Guadagnini starts on top in the Netherlands In addition to the World Championship classes of MXGP, MX2, and WMX this weekend the 125cc two-stroke of EMX125 presented by FMF Racing ripped around the Dutch circuit of Valkenswaard. Spring weather combined with the ring and premix of two strokes invoked some of the most unique racing all weekend. The FIM Europe Championship is one of the most competitive and popular in the world hosting 100 entries through two days of racing. The 125cc riders started their fight through the deep and challenging sand of Valkenswaard on Saturday for Race 1.
