EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing European Championship:

Mattia Guadagnini starts on top in the Netherlands

In addition to the World Championship classes of MXGP, MX2, and WMX this weekend the 125cc two-stroke of EMX125 presented by FMF Racing ripped around the Dutch circuit of Valkenswaard. Spring weather combined with the ring and premix of two strokes invoked some of the most unique racing all weekend. The FIM Europe Championship is one of the most competitive and popular in the world hosting 100 entries through two days of racing.

The 125cc riders started their fight through the deep and challenging sand of Valkenswaard on Saturday for Race 1. Maddii Racing Husqvarna’s Mattia Guadagnini took the race win after leading every one of the 14 laps with A1M Husqvarna’s Jorgen Matthias Talviku finishing 2nd and RFX KTM Racing’s Joel Rizzi 3rd.
On Sunday morning Race 2, just prior to the first MX2 and MXGP Races. Guyon was the one making moves forward however and after starting in fourth his road to the lead was short yet challenging. De Wolf stayed second ahead of Talviku, Guadagnini and Oliver.
The next Round of the 2018 EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing championship will take place in 1-week time in Pietramurata, Trentino together with the second round of the EMX250 class.
