European Enduro Championship Second round in Croatia – Preview

In just two weeks the Enduro European-Championship is entering a new territory: on May 30 and 31, the second round of this year's Championship will be held in Croatia. Buzet with its enterprising club is not new to the off-road world, but up to now it has never hosted an international event.The EMK Buzet organized a 60 km long route that has to be completed three times every day  - to come a cross test and an enduro test.Futhermore, there is a spectacular spectator point, which is scheduled separately.Over 200 international participants will be ready to take their start from 9:00 clock.Main favorite is again the defending champion Maurizio Micheluz from Italy (in the photo): the Husqvarna rider had beaten the British Tom Sagar and Frenchman Benoit Fortunato in the season opener in both days. Talavera de la Reina (Spain) - The podium of EMX125 - Photo C. Calderon Talavera de la Reina (Spain) hosted this weekend the European Motocross in the classes 125, 250 and 300cc. Race1 of all classes was held yesterday while today the riders struggled in Race2.In EMX125 Spanish Jorge Prado Garcia, who yesterday had finished second, managed to win today improving his advantage in the leadership of the general standing. Second position in Race2 for yesterday’s winner Josiah Natzke, from New Zealand. Third position for British Conrad Mewse, completing a podium of all KTM.In EMX250 the winner of yesterday’s race, French rider Maxime Desprey won again on his Kawasaki, beating once again Belgian Damon Graulus, on Yamaha. Third position for Danish rider Thomas Olsen Kjer. The city of Culitzsch (Germany) hosted the 4th round of EMX65 and 85cc for the North-West zone. After the qualifying races of yesterday, the young riders today faced two races for both classes. Sunday morning started with warm up, on a very wet track but with sunshine and 25°C. EMX85 - In Race1 the Danish rider Mikkel Haarup was again the fastest and was the first to cross the finish line before Dutch Rick Elzinga and Czech Petr Polak. In Race2 we could again see Mikkel Haarup finish in the first place, followed by Christoffer Mills from Great Britain, with German Pit Rickert in third position. European Junior Cup and FIM Europe Women’s Cup in Imola (Italy) - Day 2

  Emanuele Pusceddu took victory in today’s third round race of the 2015 Pata European Junior Cup, powered by Honda moving up to second place in the overall standings with his third podium of the season. Today’s scheduled nine-lap race with 29 identically-prepared Honda CBR650F machines, was red-flagged early on when a number of riders crashed at Imola’s final chicane – often the scene of dramatic racing incidents.When the track was cleared, a six-lap dash followed in which Pusceddu dominated, beating fellow Italian Paolo Grassia by almost three seconds, with series leader and winner of the opening two rounds, Javier Orellana, finishing third. EMX65 and 85cc – NW zone in Culitzsch (Germany) – Day 1

The fourth round of EMX 65cc and EMX 85cc, NW zone is taking place this weekend in Culitzsch (Germany). On a well prepared track, and with perfect weather, the free training, qualifying training, and qualifying races were performed by 79 riders. In the EMX 85cc the pole position for the Sunday’s races went to Bastian Boegh Damm from Denmark; second place for Mikkel Haarup from Denmark and third place for Anton Nagy from Sweden. In the qualifying race of the EMX 65cc class, the pole position went to Kay Karssemakers, from the Netherlands, before Nick Domann from Germany, and Simon Laengenfelder. Talavera de la Reina (Spain) is hosting this weekend the European Motocross in the classes 125, 250 and 300cc. Race1 of all classes was held while tomorrow the riders will fight for the podium of Race2.In EMX125 Josiah Natzke, from New Zealand, won in front of Spanish Jorge Prado Garcia, leader of general standings, both on KTM. Third position for French Maxime Renaux on Yamaha. In EMX250 the winner was French Maxime Desprey on Kawasaki, before Belgian Damon Graulus, on Yamaha, with Nick Kouwenberg, from Holland, to complete the podium on his Honda. The leader of general standings after the first two events, British Adam Sterry, finished 11th on his KTM. In EMX300 the leader of the championship standing Belgian Yentel Martens conquered victory in front of British Lewis Gregory and Italian Marco Maddii. European Junior Cup in Imola (Italy) - Day 1

Local rider Emanuele Pusceddu took pole position ahead of the 9-lap, fifth round Pata European Junior Cup race scheduled for tomorrow at 3:05pm at Imola’s Autodomo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The soon-to-become 19 year old from Rome will be joined on the front row by fellow Italian Matteo Ciprietti and Frenchman Guillaume Raymond , who crashed uninjured at Turn 15 in the final moments of Qualifying 2. Current series leader Javier Orellana will start the encounter from row 3 (7th place).

Round 4 of the FIM Europe Superstock 600cc Championship was decided in favour of after a race long dual saw Toprak Razgatlioglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) defeat at the last moment wildcard entry Roberto Mercandelli (Roberto Mercandelli Team) to victory by 4 seconds at the conclusion of an epic 12 lap encounter. The Turk who extends his lead in the series after his fourth victory of the year, set a new lap record as he gave chase to Federico Caricasulo (Pata Honda Junior Team), the Italian crashing out on the final lap after swapping places several times with Toprak.Mercandelli benefited from the mistake to grab 2nd ahead of fellow Italian Andrea Tucci (San Carlo Team Italia) who took the final place on the podium at the end of an action packed race.Nicola Morrentino jr, Stefano Casalotti and Luca Vitali completed the top six.The unfortunate Michael Ruben Rinaldi had been running strongly

European Bajas Championship in Poland

The European Bajas Championship had its start this weekend in Poland.    In the Moto Class, Rudolf Lhotský from Czech Republic won both manches.  In the Quad class, Damian Rajczyk from Poland won in front of compatriots Jarosław Kalinowski and Bernat Arkadiusz (in the photo) in Race1, while in Race2 Bernat Arkadiusz conquered victory ahead of Jarosław Kalinowski and Kamil Wiśniewski, all from Poland. The winner of Race1 Rajczyk fineshed in fifth position. In the UTV class Graziano Scandola won Race1 in front of Polish Tadeusz Wiśniewski and Italian Giammarco Fossà.
