European Extreme Enduro Cup at Valongo (Portugal)

The city of Valongo, in Northern Portugal, hosted the second round of the European Cup Enduro Extreme, on an extremely difficult path created by Extreme Club de Lagares, entered among the "classic" Extreme in Europe. At the start more than two dozen riders from Portugal, Spain and Norway.The race started on Saturday afternoon, with the prologue, won by Spaniard Xavi Leon Sun on Husqvarna.Sunday the second part of the race was held, and  the overall winner was again the Spaniard Xavi Leon Sole. The second place was conquered  by Dani Oliveras and the third place went to another Iberian rider ever, Sergi Leon Sole.The next round will be held in Romania, in Prahova Valley, on June 26.

Honda 150 European Championship pre-season Training Camp in Albaida (Spain)

  From the left: Alessandro Sambuco, Gerry Brice, Gordon Crockard, Davy Dousselaere, Tim Gajser, Siri Minken, Dr. Wolfgang Srb, Fabrizio Bernardini, Marco Infusino at the Training Camp in Albaida For the fourth time consecutively, the FIM Europe is collaborating with Honda for the assessment and training of the young riders of the MX 150 European Championship. 26 young riders, from 11 to 14 years old, coming from 13 different Countries, attended this pre-season Training Camp, held in Albaida (SPA) on 23rd and 24th April.During the weekend the youngsters spent their time getting to know the Honda CRF150Rs, received expert guidance and met their 2016 rivals for the first time.Tim Gajser (Honda Gariboldi’s 2015 MX2 World Champion) joined the Training Camp addressed to these young riders, giving his contribute of experience to the riders and their parents.The riders received from the FIM Europe Staff a complete training package including a physical assessment

ITP EMX Quad Championship at Castelnau de Lévis (France)

The track of Castelnau de Lévis (France) hosted the second round of ITP EMX Quad Championship. The race was held throughout the day on Saturday. The weather conditions were good until the beginning of race 1, then has been unleashed a strong storm. Despite all the water that fell during the course of the two races, the track remained in acceptable conditions, which allowed to finish the race schedule. The qualifying practice were dominated by the French rider Antoine Cheurlin on Yamaha.                      The heavy rain changed the prospective of the race and the winner, after the finish line of 1st race, was the Dutch Rider Mike Van Grinsve with WSP, followed by Adrian Mangieu from France with Yamaha. The Latvian Edgars Mengelis was 3rd (Yamaha). The second race was dominated by Adrian Mangieu (FRA), 2nd position for Edgars Mengelis LAT), 3rd for Mike Van Grinsve (NED).  The track conditions during this 2nd

European Classic Series at Le Castellet (France)

The first round of the European Classic Series 2016 has taken place on the track of Le Castellet, in the framework of the Sunday Ride Classic. Four hours of race, of which a good part at night, with Team Force taking the final victory. The team was composed of two very experienced endurance riders: Grégory Fastré, second at the recent 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Richard Hubin, World Champion Endurance in 1983. The two riders from Verviers didn't get it for free. They signed for the pole position but had engine troubles as from the warm-up, which forced the team to change the engine. EMX Women’s European Cup in Cieszyn (Poland)

Motocross women riders from all over the world are cordially welcome to participate to the first ever European Motocross Women’s European Cup, which will be held on 21/22 May 2016 in Cieszyn (Poland). The event is open to women of a minimum age of 15 years old riding MX2 specification motorcycles (250cc 4-strokes or 125cc 2-strokes). The top four women in the FIM World Championship for 2015 and 2014 are excluded from entering. The event is open to any rider from any Continental Union, not just Europe. European Junior Championship at Assen

Hannes Soomer (Auto24Ring) has come out on top at the end of the 11-lap WIL Sport European Junior Cup race at TT Circuit Assen. Starting from pole position, the 18-year-old Estonian rider took the lead on board his Honda CBR650F on the opening lap when Dorian Laville (Team Laville Mi&Do) ran slightly wide at turn five. Once at the front the third-year EJC rider never looked back and, by the end of the fifth lap, his margin on the chasing pack had grown to 1.9 seconds. Soomer smartly managed the gap in the remaining laps to claim his maiden win in the series. With opening race winner Harun Cabuk (KNN54-TMF) crashing out at turn 10 on the sixth lap while he was well in contention for honours, the battle for the remaining podium positions went down to the wire with Laville edging out Spain’s Mika Perez (Granshagen Racing Team) by

European Moto2 and Superbike in Valencia (Spain) - Day2

Eric Granado, winner of Race1 in Moto2 Sixteen thousand fans came this Sunday to witness the opening round of the FIM CEV Repsol held today at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valencia. Although the skies were slightly overcast, the temperature was pleasant and there was no wind. With everything in their favour, Granado and Odendaal took wins in the Moto2™ European Championship and Scheib in the Superbike European Championship. Brazilian Eric Granado (BRA-Kalex) dominated the first race in the Moto2™ European Championship to win comfortably. Accompanied initially by Steven Odendaal (RSA-Kalex), Remy Gardner (AUS-Kalex-Honda) and Alan Techer (FRA-NTS Tpro) all riding close together, the eventual winner pulled away steadily to ride alone from the eighth lap to the end. European Hill Climb in Landshaag (Austria)

Landshaag (Austria) hosted the European Hill Climb Road Racing Championship, with a perfect organization thanks to a long tradition. The event counted 240 riders at the start. The track was 3.620 meters long with slopes of 13%. Already in Saturday's free sessions the track record of 1:11.640 was beaten. On Sunday this lap-time was beaten again several times. Nine riders were able to beat the 2015's track record. Finally Andreas Gangl was the only rider who in Landshaag managed to ride in less than 70 seconds, establishing the new track record in 1:09.940, with an average speed of more than 186 km/h.The winners of the various classes were: Bernard Depierreux (B) in 250 GP; Francesco Curinga (I) in Supersport; Wolfgang Gammer (A) Superbike; Josef Frauenschuh (A) SM Open and they all are now the leaders 2016 European Hill Climb Road Racing Championship.At the event FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb
