Start of the Enduro European Championship in Bussi sul Tirino

The first round of the Enduro European Championship was held this weekend in Bussi sul Tirino near Pescara (Italy). The event saw the participation of 185 competitors from 16 countries.

Winners of the different classes:

• Overall: Luis Miguel Oliveira (POR, Yamaha)(1st heat) Thomas Sagar (GBR, KTM) (2nd heat)
• E1: Luis Miguel Oliveira (POR, Yamaha)(1st heat) Maurizio Micheluz (ITA, Suzuki)(2nd heat)
• E1J: Tommaso Montanari (ITA, KTM)(both heats)
• E2: Thomas Sagar (GBR, ACU)(both heats)
• E2/E3J: Diogo Ventura (POR, Yamaha)(both heats)
• E3: Mirko Gritti (ITA, KTM)(1st heat) Gianluca Martini (ITA, Beta)(2nd heat)
• Junior U20: Nelson Oliver (SWE, Husaberg)(both heats)
• Veteran: Werner Muller (AUT, OAMTC)(both heats)
• Woman: Emelie Karlsson (SWE, KTM)(both heats)
• 50cc: Matteo Merli (ITA, Beta)(both heats)
• Teams: M.C.T. Motorace(both heats)

The next round of the Championship is scheduled on the 8th and 9th of June in Bar Sur Seine (France).
