SuperEnduro Cup:
amazing Xavier Leon claims 2024 title

The SuperEnduro Cup concluded this weekend in Budapest, Hungary, with the fourth and final round of the 2024 season.

A fast, flowing track inside the impressive MVM Dome looked almost EnduroCross-like, bringing out the best in Xavi León (GasGas).

As in the previous events (Poland, Germany, Romania) where the Spanish leader dominated the series, in Hungary he ruled carrying a 31 points advantage into the night. A measured ride saw the race one win come to him while rivals faltered, and the 2024 European title was his in easy fashion

Messing with our mojos a little, American Dustin McCarthy (Beta) took the overall European win on the night with a 2-1 scorecard ahead of Xavi. Third position for Hubert Zbikowski (KTM) from Poland.

Arrived in Hungary with the third overall position, just one point from the second place, Italian rider Alessandro Azzalini (Gas Gas) succeeded in taking the silver medal thanks to the fifth position. Third final place in the standings for Maciej Wieckowski (POL), just ninth in Budapest.

Standings – Top five

3.    Maciej Wieckowski, POL, 98 p
