In the first corner the Dutchman Jerry van de Bunt was fourth, but managed to pass German Johann Karl in the first lap and kept the third place for the rest of the race despite the problems he had with the clutch. After three laps the positions at the front were settled and the distance between the riders was growing lap by lap. Behind them there was a tough but fair fight among three riders on a HKR EVO 2 for the sixth position. In the end German Dennis Bayreuther managed to be the best Rookie for the fourth time. On Sunday Race2 had totally different weather conditions. Frauenschuh had a good start again
