The second raceday at Grobnik, in Croatia, started windy and cloudy weather.

In race1 Austrian Josef Frauenschuh had a very good start and was battling with his compatriot Lukas Wimmer for the first place.

In the first corner the Dutchman Jerry van de Bunt was fourth, but managed to pass German Johann Karl in the first lap and kept the third place for the rest of the race despite the problems he had with the clutch. After three laps the positions at the front were settled and the distance between the riders was growing lap by lap.
Behind them there was a tough but fair fight among three riders on a HKR EVO 2 for the sixth position. In the end German Dennis Bayreuther managed to be the best Rookie for the fourth time.
On Sunday Race2 had totally different weather conditions. Frauenschuh had a good start again despite the rain and took the lead from the beginning, creating a big gap from Lukas Wimmer and Jerry van de Bunt. German Dominik Werkstetter had to start from the pit-lane because of a technical failure but finished sixth.
Dutch Mike Velthuijzen handled the weather conditions very well. During the whole race he was in a big fight with the rookie Dennis Bayreuther, but managed to finish third, ahead of van de Bunt and Bayreuther.
After the race Wimmer explained that he had to cope with an engine which was not running smoothly and this is why he finishes only in second position despite his fast laptimes.
The best Rookie was again Dennis Bayreuther.

European Stocksport Cup

1. Daniel Blin Poland
2. Vojtech Schwarz Czech Rep.
3. Lennart Ulbel Austria
The winner of the Cup was not present at this event but he will participate next week to World Supersport 300 in Portimao (Portugal).
