FIM Europe mourns Danijel Vastag’s departure: Secretary for Sport in the Motorcycle Association of Serbia – MSS – since 2008 and a member of the FIM Europe Marketing Commission since 2014, he was born in Zemun on November 4th 1982. He died unexpectedly yesterday.
We would like to remember him through the description of himself that he had given when he applied to the FIM Europe Marketing Commission, during the FIM Europe Congress in Cracow, in 2014:
“From the early days I was interested in sports and I coached water polo, karate, basketball. Motorsport has always been a love for me. After the death of my good friend on a motorcycle I decided to focus more on motorsport and motorcycle road safety. I started to work in the Motorcycle Association of Serbia in 2008 with a great team of people to deal with the safety of motorcyclists on roads and motorsport in general. I’m still in the same position in the Motorcycle Association of Serbia. I’ve been accepted in the FIM European Commission for safety of motorcyclists on roads in Treviso in 2011 when I got involved and in the National Agency for safety in traffic”.
