The 25th edition of the FIM Europe Trial championship is on the go. In the next weekend for the third consecutive year, in Pietramurata, Trentino region, North-East of Italy, the Riva del Garda club will have the honor to host the start of every series in these two days of competitions.

As tradition on Saturday the scene is reserved to Youths and Women. Two loops with 12 sections each, all inside a close area, easily reachable by spectators. In order to give chances to compete to everybody, independently of their own riding skills, there are also two sub-classes, named “International”, for both Youth and Women, with sections at a lower level.
Up to this moment already 175 riders have sent their entry-forms. This fact can only ratify how good was the choice of this venue as starting round.
The main championship will continue in May, on the 21st and the 22nd in Breal sous Montfort, in Bretagne (France), for the second and third round. In August there will be the final phase: two rounds in Tanvald, Czech Republic, on 6th and 7th and the last round on 14th August in Grossheubach, Germany. In total 6 rounds and starting from this year also the Over 40 class final standings will be calculated considering all the results (instead of the best 3 as done in the previous years).
Youths and Women will meet again on 25th and 26th of June, in Krzeszowice, Poland, for their second and third rounds. Then the last one will be organized on the eve of German event, on the 13th of August. Four results in total and all of them will be valid.
The success of these series is due mostly to important statements present in the general rules, such as the following:
1 – All events will be on a closed circuit without any use of public roads. Riders are not required to have a driver license or a registered bike.
2 – All riders older then 16  (except in the Youth category) can ride a bike with no limit of capacity.
3 – All riders finishing in the championships and cups will get points for the final standings.
It is also right to mention that in the past some of the most famous Trial world champions passed through the crown of European champion before. Chronologically, British Dougie Lampkin and Spanish Adam Raga and Toni Bou, for instance.
