etc_group_02
Update on FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship Technical Regulations The FIM Europe and FIM has informed about an update of the Technical Rules. Both articles are completely new, and they will be added to the complete version of the Rules 2022 shortly. So far please kindly be informed that: EFFECTIVE from Misano JuniorGP™ Round Handlebar Grips – JuniorGP™, Moto2™ ECh, and Hawkers ETC Classes It has recently been noticed that some JuniorGP™ teams have been fitting extended handlebar grips. The purpose is to allow their riders to slide their hand further towards the forks to try to improve the aerodynamic effect of the rider’s body along the straights. This practice is considered extremely dangerous due to the fact the rider has less control of the motorcycle when in this position. Accordingly, with immediate effect, the maximum permitted overall length of the handlebar grip in JuniorGP™, Moto2™ ECh and Hawkers ETC is

moto2_start
Moto2 European Championship & European Talent Cup: fourth round at Jerez de la Frontera Incredible day of racing at the iconic Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto. The Spanish venue welcomed riders and teams for round 4 of Moto2 European Championship & European Talent Cup, halfway point of the season. Moto2 European Championship The sole Moto2™ ECh encounter was also an intriguing one that wasn’t settled until the very closing stages; a four-rider fight with Alex Escrig grabbing the holeshot from Xavi Cardelus (Promoracing), his teammate Senna Agius and Lukas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact GP Junior Team) soon took place, and it wa decided by who managed tyres the best. After mistakes, Tulovic was back in fourth but soon fought back to second ahead of Agius and Cardelus, but nobody could catch Escrig, who became the 32nd different winner in the Moto2™ ECh, clinching a first win. There was late drama as

NTC: Moor and Schneider emerged victorious at Assen Race1 Rossi Moor (Farium Next Generation Riders) claimed a fourth victory of the season to extend his advantage at the top of the 2022 Northern Talent Cup standings in a scintillating Race 1 at the TT Circuit Assen. A late move on title rival Kevin Farkas (Agria Racing Team) saw Moor keep up his 100% podium tally this season, with Farkas picking up P2 ahead of fellow Hungarian – and debut rostrum finisher – Tibor Varga (Forty Racing). It was the first time this season that Moor hadn’t started from the front row and despite not getting the best of launches, it wasn’t long before the impressive Hungarian found his way to the front. The lead was changing constantly though with home hero Loris Veneman (Team NL Open Line) carving his way to P1, but his race ended with a highside on

race1_01
Northern Talent Cup: Moor and Farcas win at Sachsenring Race1 Rossi Moor (FARIUM Next Generation Riders) extended his lead at the top of the Northern Talent Cup standings after claiming a third victory of the season in what was another classic encounter at the Sachsenring. The Hungarian beat compatriot Kevin Farkas (Agria Racing Team) by just 0.169s as Germany’s Dustin Schneider (Goblin Racing) picked up the final podium spot after Tibor Varga (Forty Racing) was demoted one position on the last  lap for exceeding track limits. Farkas got the best start of all when he went from P6 to P1 at the first corner but from there until the chequered flag, the lead and podium  positions would change constantly with as many as 11 riders sitting in the  lead group in the early exchanges. A front five then broke clear heading into the business end of the race, a quintet which included Moor, Farkas, Schneider,

Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup   Third round of the season for the Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain. Moto2 The first Moto2™ ECh race treated us to an intriguing battle between Agius and polesitter Lukas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact JuniorGP Team). Tulovic led for the most part until a mistake at Turn 9 with two laps to go allowed Agius to swoop through – and the young Australian held on for his first Moto2™ victory. Alex Escrig (Yamaha Philippines Stylobike Team) completed the Race 1 podium, with Eric Fernandez (Team Speed Racing) taking the Stock win. In the second race, Tulovic – like he did in the first – got a good start and took an early advantage. But once again, after making a small error at Turn 9, Agius pounced and this time, with plenty of laps left on the clock, the Aussie pulled
