Third round of the Bajas EC in Hungary

The third round of the Bajas European Championship was held last weekend in Hungary. The provisional rankings see the following leaders: B1 class: Richard Hodola (HUN, Yamaha) 55.5 points B2 class: Rui Costa (POR, Husqvarna) 37.5 points Q3 class: Zbigniew Zych (POL, Suzuki) 62.5 points Q4 class: Lukasz Laskawiec (POL, Yamaha) 97 points The next round is scheduled on the weekend starting the 29th and 30th of September in Idanha a Nova (Portugal). Dragbike EC Weekend in Tierp

The fifth round of the Dragbike European Championship was held from the 23rd to the 26th of August in Tierp (Sweden). The winners of the three classes are the following: Top Fuel Bike: Peter Svensson (SWE, Billet Racing) Super Twin: Svein Olav Rolfstad (NOR, Supertwin) Pro Stock Bike: Fredrik Fredlund (FIN, Suzuki) In the provisional rankings the leaders are British Ian King (Top Fuel Bike), Canadian Nate Gagnon (Super Twin) and Finnish Fredrik Fredlund (Pro Stock Bike). Next and final round of the Dragbike European Championship will be held on the 9th of September in Santa Pod (Great Britain).

Two Countries Cup in Moscow

The third and last round of the Two Countries Cup was held today in Moscow (Russia). The winner of this round was Russian rider Maxim Kiselev (Honda), followed by Russian Sergey Orlov (Yamaha) and Belgian Dakota Mamola (Yamaha). After the three round the winner of the two Countries Cup is the Italian Denis Sacchetti (Kawasaki) with 56 points followed by Belgian Dakota Mamola (Yamaha) with 40 points. Semi-Final 1 of European Pairs Speedway EC in Munkebo

The first Semi-Final of the European Pairs Speedway European Championship was held yesterday on the Danish track of Munkebo. The Danish team (Kenni Larsen, Peter Kildemand, Nikolai Jakobsengot) was the winner in front of Germany and Denmark. The next Semi-Final is scheduled on the 8th of September in Miskolc (Hungary). The fourth round of the Super Street Bike Dragbike class was held from the 18th to the 20th of August in Kundamaras (Hungary). Winner of the race was Richard Stubbins ACU, and Runner up was Graham Balchin ACU. New ET European record set in 7.5084 sec. by Grahan Balchin ACU. New TS European record set at 313,20 km/h. by Richard Stubbins. Next round of the Dragbike European Championship will be held from the 23rd to the 26th of August in Tierp (Sweden). S2 Supermoto EC in Ligneres

The fifth round of the Supermoto European Championship was held Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19thof August in Lignères (Switzerland) with perfect weather conditions and without any serious accident. All the three heats were won by the Czech rider Peter Vorlicek (Honda), who become the 2012 European Champion with one round to go. In the Young trophy and the first heat was won by Italian Edgardo Borella (Yamaha) and the second and third one by the Dutch Devon Vermeulen (KTM), who leads now the provisional rankings with 233 points. Grass Track Individual final in Eenrum

The 2012 UEM Grass Track Individual Final was certainly a hot competition with the event being staged in temperatures approaching 34 Celsius at Eenrum in the North of Holland. The 4000 spectators witnessed some very exciting racing with riders not giving a centimetre during the 12 qualify heats. Once all the points were totalled, the field of 18 riders were allocated to the three (C, B and A) Finals. With two places available for the winner and 2nd place from the B Final racing was again extremely competitive with Dirk Fabriek (FMB) and Glen Philips (ACU) joining Ales Dryml (ACCR), Stephan Katt (DMSB), Jörg Tebbe (DMSB) and Jannick de Jong (KNMV) in the final. With Ales Dryml being unbeaten during the qualifying heat, he started favorite. However Katt had other ideas and he out gated the other five riders, to lead the race from start to finish. Three days of Enduro in Krompachy

The fourth and last round of the Enduro European Championship was held in three days this weekend and was a great success. Great organisation, beautiful location and huge participation of riders (129) with nine national teams fighting for the Nations, 8 for the Nations Junior Trophy and 3 for the Veteran Trophy. The track was particularly attractive, with standards similar to a world competition. The Nations trophy was won by Italy, also the Junior Trophy, while the Veteran trophy went to the Czech team.
