The start of EMX300 - Photo ©Youthstream It was a diverse weekend for round five of the EMX125 and round three of the EMX300 European Championships with the two day event hosting one race on a dry, hard and slick surface and the second in some of the worst mud the championship has ever seen. Yesterday, the sun-baked circuit of Maggiora was dominated by KTM Factory Juniors Josiah Natzke who claimed his fourth consecutive EMX125 race win, while Swiss rider Killian Auberson took his first ever win in the EMX300. EMX300With the weather taking a turn for the worst today, the EMX300 race was cut short due to torrential rain flooding the circuit. Italian fans remained happy with one of their locals, Manuel Beconcini, claiming the race win and another Italian, Marco Maddii, stealing the overall. The Motocross European Championship EMX Open was held this weekend in Croatia in Jastrebarsko-Mladina. Weather condition was very heavy for all riders: it was a sunny weekend, with 35°C. The favourite rider was Martin Michek from Czech Republic who won both races and gained full points. Peter Irt from Slovenia was second and follows with 44 points, before Petr Michalec from Czech Republic with 38 pts. In the EMX Open general standings the leader is Bartos Petr with 200 points, second is Marti Michek with 194 points, and third is Petr Michalec, with 180 points, all from Czech Republic. On June 20th the Speedway European Championship series will start. At MotoArena in Torun (Poland) the fifteen best riders of Europe will compete for the first points in the general classification, for the title of champion of Europe. Alex Dimitrov, winner of the EMX85 in the latest round of SE Zone, in Sliven, Bulgaria The Croatian Motorcycle Federation (HMS) announces that the round of EMX65 and 85 cc South-East zone scheduled in Mladina (Croatia) on 13 and 14th June has been cancelled. The EMX Open will be regularly held in the same date and racetrack.

Enrico Janoschka in action at Bielefeld on Sunday Spectators from Germany, the Netherlands, France and England were promised thrilling and exciting racing at Bielefeld (Germany) over the weekend and that’s exactly what they got. Despite a very hot and sunny day, the club worked hard to produce a very fast race track that gave the spectators an excellent racing day at the European Individual Grass Track 2nd Semi Final event.The eighteen competitors quickly adapted to the conditions, which produced some very fast and furious racing.As the meeting progressed, the track conditions improved, and it was difficult to forecast who would be the eventual winner. However once all the qualifying heats had been completed, German rider Enrico Janoschka emerged as the hot favourite, having been unbeaten during the first part of the event. With nine qualifying places (+ one reserve) being available to progress into the European Final at Staphorst (Netherlands)

  The podium of the EMX65 In the weekend of 6-7 June the last event of North West European Motocross 65 and 85 cc Championship was held in Erslev (Denmark), organised by Morsø MotoCross Klub. Both racing days benefitted from sunny weather and wind, which allowed around 2.400 spectators to watch the event live in the track. After the technical control there were 25 riders in the EMX65 class and 39 riders in the EMX85 class. EMX65The first heat of this class was dominated by Dutch rider Sem de Lange who took the start and never lost the leadership until the chequered flag was given. He was followed by Danish rider Matti Jørgensen half a second before Dutch rider Scott Smulders on the third place. In the second heat Swedish rider Teddy Jondell took the start, but he was passed by two riders, and ended on the third place. The

The fourth round of ITP European Quadcross Championship took place in Stelpe (Latvia) in the weekend of June 6-7th .On a very nice and perfect prepared track, in a sunny weather, the 26 participants had 2 sessions of free practice, the qualifying practice and two races. The pole position for the Sunday’s races went to Edgars Mengelis, from Latvia, in the second place Sten Jupaschevski, from Estonia, with Domantas Vaznys from Lithuania in the third place.In the first race the fastest rider was Edgars Mengelis, followed by Sten Jupaschevski, with Priit Jarvloo in third place.In the second race Sten Jupaschevski was the first at the finish line, before Martin Filatov (in the photo) and Priit Jarvloo, both from Estonia. The fourth round of the European Supermoto Championship was held this weekend in Poznan (Poland). S2 Race 1After taking pole for the fourth time this season and after winning every race to remain undefeated all eyes were on TM Degasoline rider Marc-Reiner Schmidt but as he approached turn 1 he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, leaving TM Racing Toni Klem his main rival to take control, and once there Klem never faultered and went on take his first win of the season.Schmidt put in a great performance though and by lap 6 was already up to second but by then Klem had too much of a lead to do anything about it.Lorenzo Lapini found himself in fifth on the opening lap but after Diego Monticelli and Giovanni Bussei crashed in separate incidents during the race found himself in 3rd with 6 laps to go, which is where he

  In a beautiful area in the surroundings of the lovely city of Maribor, the EMX65, 85 and Open SW zone was held in Orehova Vas (Slovenia), under a clear sky and 30 degrees for the whole weekend, on a technical track, very well prepared by special equipment (pistenbully). EMX65The qualifying race of the EMX65 started with a holeshot of French rider Florian Miot followed by the Spanish Adria Monne and Raul Sanchez, who is second in championship. No changes for 2 laps but before the end Miot’s bike stopped. On the finish line it was Monne who was leading before Sanchez and French Quentin Marc Prugniers. On Sunday, the Spanish rider Monne did the holeshot in the first race, followed by his compratiot Canet. The Challenge of Individual Speedway European Championship scheduled in Lendava, on 30th May 2015 was held in Torun (Poland) on 5th June 2015. Fifteen riders from 7 Countries wanted to finish the Meeting in top 7, in order to qualify to the Final series.The Meeting, which was held in the modern Speedway Track Motoarena Torun, was dominated by Russian Artem Laguta, who scored maximum: 15 points.Second position for Danish Hans Andersen after run-off with Polish Tomasz Jędrzejak.
