FRANCE 5-0 BELARUS Belarus are often the dark horse in European Championships, especially for title pretend­ing teams. But this time France looked serious and composed in their attacking and defending, and got four goals in the first half of the game. In the second part of the game Belarus had a good chance, but didn't score 11 meters penalty, also French goalkeeper saved good 16 meters free-kick shot and France players added another one beauty. Les Bleus were just outstanding. It was also nice to see FIM Europe 1st Deputy President Martin De Graaff enjoying the game in the stands. European Mini Bike Road Racing at Franciacorta (Italy)

This year’s meeting has been a great success with 109 riders from 14 different Nations participating. The scene was the Autodromo di Franciacorta in Italy and with clear skies and warm and dry weather this excellent venue with two different tracks – one for MiniMoto and one for Mini GP – set the ideal frame for three days of racing and friendship. The Mini Bike racing is for children from 7 years and for many of the participants it was an inspiration and education to be part of the friendly but strict atmosphere associated with a European Championship. The Italian riders held the home track and they had strong results in all of the MiniMoto classes as well as in the Mini GP class. MotoGP stars support the campaign „No Ride without Training“

On the way to Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, MotoGP stars Marc Marquez (Honda) and Bradley Smith (KTM) took part in a press conference in Vienna at the headquarters of Österreichischer Automobil, Motorrad und Touring Club (ÖAMTC), in the presence of Austrian Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology Mr. Norbert Hofer, to support the campaign “No Ride without Training”, promoting safe motorcycle riding on the roads. Both riders underlined the necessity of preparation before riding as well as always wearing a proper gear. From left AMF President Univ. Prof. Dr. Harald Hertz; KTM Board Member Mag. FRANCE 3-THE NETHERLANDS 2 France has opened their score box in 9th minute, soon after this The Netherlands had a good chance to answer, but the ball hit the crossbar. Despite this in the second quarter The Netherlands equalized the result with a beautiful 16 meters free-kick. It was a wake-up call for France and in the sixth minute of second quarter they came up with a goal. There was less luck for them in the end of the quarter when France player got a hit in the head with a ball from 16 meters free-kick, at least the player left the field with some help from his teammates. In the second part of the game France got another goal, The Netherlands answered in the end of the game, but France did their job well and earned their first 3 points. GERMANY 2-BELARUS 4 Germans began the game with high tempo and a lot of attacks, but couldn't get the ball in, while Belarus used their only chance effectively and scored in the first quarter, and again at the beginning of the second - beautiful long range shot into the corner. Only in the end of the quarter Germany at last managed to find the net and scored two goals. In the second part of the game Belarus took higher pace in attack and scored their third goal. Then they earned 11 meters penalty, scored and left Germans under big pressure, and their team just could not find their game until the end of the match. THE NETHERLANDS 2-LITHUANIA 4 The Netherlands scored their first goal in the first quarter and things didn't look bright for Lithuania, their captain received green card and was sent out for 2 minutes. The Lommel, Belgium, circuit hosted FIM Europe’s classes of EMX125 presented by FMF Racing and EMX250 for this weekend’s round of Belgium alongside the FIM Motocross World Championship classes of MXGP and MX2. Maddi Racing Husqvarna’s Mattia Guadagnini and REVO Husqvarna UK’s Mel Pocock took full advantage of the opportunity to win this weekend and took their respective overall victories. The world class event was a massive and challenging stage for the nearly 200 riders entered into the EMX classes yesterday and today. Lommel is known as one of the most testing sand tracks in the world even for seasoned World champions. Coming into the weekend 100 riders were entered into the 125 class alone with another 91 in EMX250. European Trial Championship at Santo Stefano d’Aveto (Italy) – Day 2

Italian Matteo Grattarola (Sembenini Montesa, photo1) won the fourth round of the FIM Europe Trial Championship and he is very close to be crowned, as his leadership increased to 75 points with one round left. French Kieran Touly (Sherco, photo2) and Italian Piero Sembenini (Montesa, photo3) triumphed in Junior and Over 40 classes. In the hottest days of the year, all the European riders appreciated the fresh breeze that Santo Stefano d'Aveto – a small village at almost 1000 mt on sea level, chosen for this penultimate round - offered. European Vintage Road Race Championship at Donington Park (Great Britain)

The UK round of the FIM Europe Vintage Road Race Championship was organised by the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club and held under sunny skies at the Donington Park Classic Motorcycle Festival. The former Moto GP circuit served up some brilliant racing over three days, thrilling a big crowd of spectators. The first set of races saw class wins for: Class 2 Stuart McDonald (Bultaco), Class 3 Charles Murdoch (Honda), Class 4 Tomas Karlsson (Yamaha) Class 5 Roel Pasop (Triumph), Class 6 Alan Major (Triumph), Class 7a Mike Smith (Triumph ) Class 7b Mike Smith (Yamaha). Conditions for racing remained ideal for the second set of races and the results were similar to the first set of races except that Bernd Pollman took the Class 4 win on his immaculate Aermacchi after race 1 winner Tomas Karlsson retired his 350cc Yamaha. European Watercross Cup in Finland

The Finnish town of Sodankylä hosted the first Watercross European Cup in a cloudy weather with abouth 17 degrees. The riders present were 23 present, from the Scandinavian countries. The event was held ahead of around 1.500 spectators. The organizer did made a fantastic work up to this event and the spectators could see an event in top class. Free practice and qualification was done before lunch time and the finals after. The final result in European Watercross Cup 2018 saw Antti Holmberg from Finland winner with 25 points ahead of Joachim Olsen (in the photo in action) from Norway with 20 points and Morten Blien from Norway with 16 points.
