MotoGP stars support the campaign „No Ride without Training“

On the way to Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, MotoGP stars Marc Marquez (Honda) and Bradley Smith (KTM) took part in a press conference in Vienna at the headquarters of Österreichischer Automobil, Motorrad und Touring Club (ÖAMTC), in the presence of Austrian Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology Mr. Norbert Hofer, to support the campaign “No Ride without Training”, promoting safe motorcycle riding on the roads. Both riders underlined the necessity of preparation before riding as well as always wearing a proper gear.

Road safety is a top priority of ÖAMTC, running serveral driving safety centers in Austria, as well for the Austrian Government and the Austrian Motorcycle Association (arge2Rad).

Multi-times World Champion Marc Marquez stated: “Racing on the top level and training hard do not guarantee a save ride. On the road pay maximum attention and follow the advice of the best professionals“.
