EMX 65 / EMX 85 and EMX Women' European Championship The EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship – North Europe zone and EMX Women' European Championship were back in action in Olecko, in north-eastern Poland, for their second and third round. In EMX65 ruled the Estonian riders. Overall win for Theo Lolts (GasGas) thanks to a double second position. 22 + 22 points were enough for him to grab the first step of the podium ahead of Gregor Lootus (KTM) and Robin Robert Mooses (Husqvarna), who both took a win and a third place. In EMX85 another amazing triumph for Estonian rider Travis Leok (Husqvarna), who took the first step of the overall podium with a majestic double win. EMX250 European Championship: Valk gets first win of his career That was a great weekend and strong fourth round for the EMX250 European Championship in Intu Xanadu Arroyonolinos, Spain, with many battles throughout the weekend. At the end of the weekend, it was Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk who clinched his first win of the season in front of Championship leader Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi and BT Racing Team’s Kay Karssemakers once again on the podium. In race 1, Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Alexis Fueri was the quickest out of the gate but the Red Plate Andrea Bonacorsi overtook him after few turns to take the lead. We thought that Bonacorsi would go on to win without trouble but Team VRT KTM Factory Juniors’ Marc-Antoine Rossi had a magnificent pace tried to disrupt that. EMX 65 / EMX 85 and EMX Women' European Championship Last weekend the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship saw the first race of the South West zone and the third one of the Central Europe zone together with the second round of the EMX Women' European Championship. Dardon Guegnon, in France, started the 2023 season of the South West zone. The technical track in the beautiful French area, close to the Parc Naturel du Morvan, hosted the first round with 38 riders in EMX65 and 41 in EMX85. The first race of the EMX85 saw David Cracco (Husqvarna) took the holeshot. Halfway, the Italian rider was passed by the 2022 EMX65 Champion Ricardo Bauer (KTM) and the Swiss rider Ryan Oppliger. EMX125 and EMX250 European Championship: Bonacorsi heroic winner in while Reisulis continues his domination What a third round for the EMX250 and EMX125 European Championships in Agueda, Portugal, were both classes put on the show. We are now starting to see clear favourites performing rounds after rounds. In EMX250, the Red Plate and favourite Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi won in a formidable manner after dealing with problems on his bike in race 2. It was in front of BT Racing Team’s Kay Karssemakers and VRT KTM Factory Juniors’ Ferruccio Zanchi. In EMX125 presented by FMF Racing, MJC Yamaha Official EMX125’s Janis Martin Reisulis got his second win of the season in front of 737 Performers GASGAS’s Mathis Valin and Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Maximilian Werner.   EMX250 Race 1 saw an eventful first lap where it was Ferruccio Zanchi who came out of the first turn leading the pack right in front of Championship leader Andrea Bonacorsi. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship: first round of the North Europe zone The first round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North Europe zone officially kicked off last weekend in the beautiful city of Pärnu. Situated in southwest Estonia, it is the fourth largest city in Estonia, 128 km south of the capital, Tallinn, and it sits off the coast of Pärnu Bay, an inlet of the Gulf of Riga, which is a part of the Baltic Sea. The first seasonal race out of four saw almost 80 riders  fought in good weather conditions in a friendly atmosphere. The EMX85 class saw the undisputed superiority of home hero Travis Leok (Husqvarna), who ruled both heats followed by Lucas Leok (Husqvarna) and Michal Psiuk (KTM). EMX125 and EMX250 European Championship: Lata tops a full Italian podium in EMX250 and Reisulis dominate the EMX125 The second round of the EMX250 and EMX125 European Championship in Pietramurata, Italy, with some quality and skilful riding. The EMX250 saw a podium completed by three young Italian riders with KTM Beddini Racing Team’s Valerio Lata winning in front of Red Plate holder Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi and VRT KTM Factory Juniors’ Ferruccio Zanchi. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship: Central Europe zone round 2 together with the EMX Women' European Championship After round one in Belgium, the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - Central Europe zone moved to Slagelse, Denmark, for the second event of the season. As in Lommel, in the first 85cc race Dani Heitink (Husqvarna), Jarne Bervoets (KTM), and Dean Gregoire (KTM) fought for victory until the very last lap. Bad luck for the Belgian rider in Race 2: after a great fight for the lead until minute 19, Bervoets had technical problems and went back to 5th, missing the podium. First position for Gregoire ahead of Heitink and Dex Kooiker (Husqvarna). EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship: the season gets underway With the first race of the South East zone and Central Europe zone during the Easter weekend the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship officially kicked off. Pictures copyright: Toma Nedelea The 2023 South East zone was up and run with the first race of the season kicking things off in the quaint town of Krinides, close to the tourist Kavala, in Greece. Lighting up round one in exciting style, the first seasonal race out of six saw 20 riders fought in harsh weather conditions, with cold, clouds and strong wind. More than 1500 spectators were present during the weekend to enjoy the races, which were held in a friendly atmosphere. Aron Katona (KTM) of Hungary ruled the EMX85 class without big contest, managing to win in style every outing on the track. Second in both races was Sami Dumitru
