Women’s European SSP 300 Championship:
double win for Santos in Most round

The Women’s European SSP 300 Championship was back in action in the Czech Republic for the Most round, the third of the season.

Race 1
The Autodrom Most has a new queen: Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team) triumphs in Race 1 despite a tricky start and wins with some advantage. The reigning champion dominated a race with many crashes. Natalia Rivera (Trasimeno) was second even though she was just over 5 seconds behind the winner. Aurelia Cruciani (Roc’n’DeA), who started from the sixth position, bounced back and got the podium with a third place. Ran Yochay (Celo Racing) finished in fourth position ahead of Patrycja Sowa (Sowa Racing), fifth. Tough Race 1 for Roberta Ponziani (Roc’n’DeA), who had an highside and was hit by Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse).

Race 2
The reigning champion Beatriz Neila Santos signed the double by leading Race 2 from the lights to the chequered flag and leaving behind her a heated fight for the remaining two podium positions. In a race full of battles, Natalia Rivera came out on top of the group chasing the podium, made up of four riders separated by more than two tenths. The Spaniard was second ahead of her team-mate Jessica Howden (Trasimeno). The South African achieved her best result of the season and got the podium for the first time in 2023. By only 60 thousandths, Roberta Ponziani was fourth, but redeemed herself after the tremendous crash in Race 1. Sara Cabrini closed the top five.
