The first day of the UK round of the Road Race Vintage Championship was held at a sun kissed Donington Park yesterday. Qualifying took place before lunch followed by a ten race programme during the afternoon.
Outstanding rides came from Hasse Gustafson (900 Ducati) in Class 7a and Jeff Smith (200cc Bridgestone) in class 2, who won their races in great style.

Today sees the second set of the European Championship races before the final day of the meeting on Sunday.
