The sixth and last round of the European ITP Quad Championship is being held this weekend at Kivioli, in Estonia. The track was very well prepared, like the years before. Only the weather was very different: not hot and dry as usual but wet and rainy.
It has been raining since last night, in today in the afternoon the rain stopped from time to time.
25 ITP Quads were present at the qualifying and practice and 23 in the qualifying. On the top position in the tomorrow’s starting grids we will see (Mike van Grinsven (NED), followed by Kevin Saar (EST), 0,137s behind and Edgars Mengelis, (LAT), + 0,544s.
The championship leader Adrian Mangieu (FRA) gained only the fourth position, with a delay of 1,297s, in front of Daniil Vlasov (RUS) + 1,543s.
The most astonishing performance was that of the young Estonian Kevin Saar, who, with his second position, is now on the way to the top.
