The fifth round of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship (South Western leg) was held in Baldasserona (San Marino). The race was held in sunny weather conditions: 39°C was the temperature of the day. The circuit, very well prepared and watered worked very well. This was the last race valid for the allocation of 10 positions in the championship to participate in the Great Britain final. In the 85cc, in the first heat Andrea Zanotti from San Marino (TM) started on top and maintained the leadership till the end flag, second position went to Italian Gabriele Oteri (TM) and third to Italian Tomas Ragadini (KTM).
