Motocross European Championships:
calendar updates
FIM Europe would like to inform of the updates to the provisional 2021 calendar of the Motocross Championships.
Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, the decision has been made to delay the start of the upcoming season and the first round will kick off in Great Britain in late June. The same race format as last year will be used during the upcoming season meaning that EMX will race on Saturday. The decision to run a one-day format was made due to the tight racing schedule in order to allow more recovery time for the riders and the team staff.
In addition, the FIM-Europe Motocross of European Nations and Women’s Motocross of European Nations scheduled on the 18th-19th of September in Riola Sardo, Italy, will now be as TBA, with more details to be announced at a later date. Moreover, the EMX65/85 Finals will now take place on 18th-19th September at Riola Sardo on the island of Sardinia together with MXGP/MX2.
