Sitnianksy and TM Factory Racing rider Joan Llados completed the top five the second session.

In the afternoon under a cloudy sky the timed practice session started. Straight from the start Bussei pushed hard and set for the first time of the day at time under 1:42. His time of 1:41:833 was enough to secure him the pole position for the races on Sunday. Monticelli pushed his TM to the limits and was able to close the gap with Bussei to 00:234 second in his last lap, but as time ran out he had to settle for second place on the starting grid. The front row of the starting grid will be completed by Suzuki Grau rider Petr Vorlicek who will go for the 2016 title tomorrow.
