The small village of Champ le Duc, about half an hour from St. Die des Vosges, in the beautiful region of the Vosges in France, hosted the second round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship – South West zone and EMX Women’s European Championship. EMX 65 / 85 SW zone

EMX 65
After the overall win in the first round in Italy, the Spanish rider Pau Caudet was again on the first step of the podium thanks to an amazing first position in race1 and one second place in race2. Besides him the Austrian Ricardo Bauer, first in race2 and third in race1, and the Spanish Carlos Martin Jiminez with a second and a third positions.
No other riders came close to these three competitors.

EMX 85
Second pole position for the Italian Niccolo Mannini, who this time succeeded to win the overall classification ruling both race1 and race2. with a strong leadership won the overall classification thank to two wins. Behind him the Italian Riccardo Pini and the French Mano Faure were once second and once third.

EMX Women’s
20 ladies took off for qualifying session, won by the Norvegian Mathea Selebo.
In the first race the Danish Line Dam took the holeshot, shortly followed by Selebo, who won ahead of Dam and the Dutch Danee Gelissen.
Race2 was a copy of the first race for the first two places, while the third position was conquered by the Danish rider Laura Raunkjaer.
In the category 125 the Swedish Tyra Backstrom won ahead of the Dutch Danee Gelissen and the French Alexandra Massury.
