Start of the Trial EC in Tanvald (Czech Republic)

According to what predicted, Sweden Eddie Karlsson (JTG), Italians Matteo Poli (Ossa) and Luca Cotone (Gas Gas) occupied the podium keeping this order in the top class of the first round of the UEM FIM Europe Trial Championship, held at Tanvald, Czech Republic. Very tough competition due to the terrible weather that even today did not save the riders by the rain, as already happened the day before in the other competition scheduled for this event. In addition to the weather, the “non stop” rule made riders at least perplexed because they normally ride in different way in their own countries. Karlsson won quite clear on the Italian couple, gaining the leadership from the first lap and eventually improving his score in the second part of the competition. Semi-Final 1 of the Individual Speedway Junior EC in Pila (Poland)

The first Semi-Final of the Individual Speedway Junior European Championship was held yesterday in the Polish track of Pila. The event was won by Latvian Andzejs Lebedevs, second position went to Polish rider Piotr Pawlicki and third position to Ukrainian Aleksandr Loktaev. Trial Women and Youth EC in Tanvald (Czech Republic)

British Jack Price (Gas Gas) and Emma Bristow (Sherco) are the first winners in their respectively championship, the Youth's and the Women's in this very wet round held at Tanvald, Czech Republic. More than 60 brave young riders and women coming from 14 different countries spent about 4 hours in the rain to fight on the very slippery rocks that the wonderful well known Tanvald's forest offered. Among the Youth's , Price had his hard time in having the upper hand on German Franz Kadlec (Gas Gas) and British Dan Peace (Beta). The former scored the same points and the same number of cleans (15) of him and was beaten by just one “dab” less. Introduction to the first Trial EC round in Tanvald (Czech Republic)

The 2013 UEM FIM Europe Trial European Championship is on the go with a two-days event in Tanvald, North Czech Republic, this week-end. On Saturday it is scheduled the first of three rounds of the Youth Cup and Women Championship. On Sunday the usual four classes of the real European Championship that this year consists of 4 rounds. Nearly 150 riders have already sent their entry-forms for a championship always live nevertheless the world economic crisis. In the woods of this well known Trial venue, on Saturday the very young riders and the best women will fight on 12 sections to do twice. Still two loops the day after, but 15 hazards to be faced by the most blazoned pilots. First round of the Dragbike European Cup Super Street Bike in Santa Pod (UK)

The first round in the Dragbike European Cup Super Street Bike was held from the 24th to the 27th of May in Santa Pod (UK) in front of 18000 spectators. The weather was rainy on Friday and sunny the rest of the days. The new track was well prepared by the organisers. This second year of the Super Street Bike Class in FIM Europe shows even better results than 2012 already. Winner of the race was Dave Holland number 4 in 2012, ACU England. Runner up is last years Champion Graham Balchin. 2 European Records were also set by last years number 4. Dave Holland ET record set at 7.1991 sec. and speed record set at 331,53 kmh. Second round of the Supermoto EC in Variano (Italy)

The second round of 2013 SuperMoto European Championship ES2 has been held this weekend in Vairano di Vidigulfo. The first heat was characterized from an enthusiastic battle between the British rider Malachi Mitchell Thomas (TM) and the Dutch Devon Vermuelen (KTM), Mitchell arrived first under the checkered flag overtaking Vermulen at the second last lap after exchanging their position many times during the race. Third position was obtained by the Finnish rider Asseri Kingelin (Honda). In the second heat the British rider Malachi Mitchell Thomas (TM), after taking the hole shot, has compromised the victory of the race during the first lap with a crash in the off road section which forced him to restart from position 13. The heat was won by the Dutch Devon Vermuelen (KTM) in front of the French rider Frederic Guerin (Suzuki) and the Finnish rider Asseri Kingelin (Honda). Thanks to these results, the GP

Start of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Schwedt (Germany)

The first round of the MAXXIS Quadcross European Championship was held this weekend in Schwedt (Germany). On Saturday was heavy rain therefore qualifying practice was on Sunday morning instead of warm up. On Sunday weather conditions were good. The first race was won Jeremie WARNIA from France ,second was Mike Van GRINSVEN from the Netherlands and third was Olli KOSKELA from Finland. Second race won Jeremie WARNIA from France ,second was Mike van GRINSVEN from the Netherlands and third was Edgars MENGELIS from Latvia. After two races first is Jeremie WARNIA from France with 50 points, second Mike van GRINSVEN from the Netherlands with 44 points and third is Olli KOSKELA from Finland with 38 points. EMX65 and 85 SW Europe in Brou (France)

The fourth round of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship (South Western leg) was held in Brou (France) with cloudy and partially rainy weather. Deep mud at some parts of the track. The organizer made a good job removing the mud from parts of the track. In the EMX65 class, the first heat was won by Spanish rider Oliver Oriol (KTM), followed by Austrian David Shartner (KTM) and Russian Nikita Kucherov (KTM). The second heat was won by French Tom Guyon (KTM) second position to Spanish David Braceras Martinez (KTM) and third position to Oriol. The EMX85 class saw the victory in the first heat of Italian Morgan Lesiardo (KTM) followed by Italian Gianluca Facchetti (Suzuki) and French Ludovic Bompar (KTM).
